What browser are you using? Does this happen with all skins? Are you sure it's WB and not some weird java script for popups or something like that?

hey and my buddy treetog too! the acknowledged skinning god... thanks but I have to admit, after I make the skin in Notepad I use SkinStudio now to add the new features and check the code. There's always some new undocumented feature that you'll find in SS that you'd never know about otherwise. Like the "top" menu item graphic, that was a cool one to discover lurking in SkinStudio. or I just wait for a new treetog skin and copy all the stuff he did <img src="http://images.stardock.com/i

wow... I missed my hero worship again Always seems to happen when I'm on the road... You guys are too kind. Thanks a lot, I'm glad this skin came out so usable, that was the goal. It was originally designed to be an embeded interface shipped with a new computer so I tried to make it as fast and as liveable as possible. The project died and the skins sat in limbo for about 6 months until theGreenReap

I've never noticed any animation in the Explorer one so maybe I shouldn't call it a "throbber". It's the white square with the windows flag in the upper right corner of every Explorer window. My guess is the graphic is in a DLL.

I'd also like to be able to change the 'throbber' in Explorer windows but haven't found a way to do that yet. Another standard MS thing that messes with the theme. WB4 sure does a nice job on all the rest of it though...

It's only been available since the WB4 Alpha releases came out. You must have WB4 installed to get this feature (and it must be added by the skin author). Please Wait dialog is like the Turn Off Computer dialog and it shows up when you change skins.

Neko is cool, I had that way back in 1990. I got the newer one when it was updated for Win95. That was when it came out of the window and actually ran around on the desktop. I eventually got irritated with it and lost it over the years. Thanks for reminding me, it might be fun again for a while.

sig - I remember Rawley saying she sent a letter to George Tenet. The MI-6 story was on the front page of the BBC, the London Telegraph and the Jerusalem Post on 9/12. It was still 9/11 when I read it, late at night here but morning in Europe. The headline was "(don't remember his name but the head of MI-6) Is Furious, Demands to Know Why CIA Ignored Warning" The story said MI-6 had used a special channel, only used when the information is verified and extremely urgent, that goes direc

Why would the President and Vice President be personally lobbying (begging really) members of congress to NOT investigate the events surrounding 9/11? They claimed it would interfere with the "war on terror". When Pearl Harbor happened there was an investigation and we were involved in WWII. After Pearl Harbor every field commander in the intelligence community resigned in disgrace. Tenet, Muller and Chavez all got promotions and the CIA was put in charge of the entire intelligence comm

Felix looks pretty cool, I like the fact that it's not a screensaver but runs around on your desktop. Unfortunately I can't find anywhere to download a trial or how much it costs on felix's website. Besides I just got the aquarium screensaver as a gift and I'm sure felix would probably just eat all the fish...

My favorite virtual kitty is Pixel Pets screensaver. http://www.moggies.co.uk/html/pixelpets.html even the free one is a gas to watch, it's like having a kitten playing around your desktop. Very realistic and sooo cute... hiya China Cat

sig - The request for a search warrant was to look into the computer of a suspect that was (we are told) the twentieth hijaker. He was supposedly part of the group that did it. The search warrant request was modified by the head of the anti-terror division (I think his name was David Chavez, might be remembering that wrong) and Robert Muller. The modifications made it so the judge would not grant the search warrant. When that happened, Colleen Rawley went over the heads of her superiors to Geor

I'm just popping in to say hello to Doreen and China This stuff about Iraq and Osama being linked, America's economy is fine, health care is there if you just took it instead of buying a new car... etc. The percentage of the population that would be terribly offended by this nonsense is growing rapidly. If all goes as planned you will be among them soon enough. I don't buy the ridiculous s

Previews are back but there seems to be a problem with the zoom image on some older skins. It would be good if people would check their uploads to see if the zoom is working. If you find any where the preview is broken try updating the preview image (without resetting the update date flag) and let us know if that doesn't fix it.... thanks!

Baghdad is a city of 5 million people (or somewhere between 2 and 5 million depending on who's statistics you hear) and all the videos I saw of the happy Iraqis was from the same events and never looked like more than maybe several hundred people at the most. Anti-war demonstrations in even small cities in the US looked like twenty times more people in the street. I'm sure there is great joy that Saddam is gone. It's obvious that the Ba'ath party is finished. I think it's also obvious t
