I'm not sure where I would fit in. I've been messing with my computer's look on my own since the early 90's. I truly miss the times, somewhere in my twenties, when I was lucky enough to meet a lot of very remarkable people. It was very common that we would stay up till sunrise discussing things. Those conversations, which often turned into debates, were the most rewarding intellectual discussions I ever had. Most of my sense of who I am was formed in the joyous pursuit of truth that was a hallmark of those days and those conversations.

I once lived as part of a crafts commune (for lack of a better term) and we would work all winter doing beadwork and stained glass and then spend the whole summer traveling around to the shows selling our wares. That was the best use of the seasons I ever experienced. It seemed so much in tune with nature. We lived out in the country and it rained a whole lot in the winter. Right now I wouldn't debate what time it is. I'm worn out and the sun is out... But What I can't stand is the people who debate by proclamation. As in, "There's no evidence of that" "Nobody would support you in that" after you've spent years looking deeply into a subject and finding the facts some blowhard just dismisses everything as though he knows what he's saying having not spent a minute of his time actually trying to learn about the subject.
