This was originally written as a reply to the "Rolling Stone's top 50" article, but I liked it and would like to enlighten others on the glory of Pearl Jam, if they are so interested. Reply, folks, and I'll let you know what's what! Thank you, Sean, for giving a shout out to Pearl Jam. As a major fan, it's often difficult to distance myself from the band enou

Thank you, Sean, for giving a shout out to Pearl Jam. As a major fan, it's often difficult to distance myself from the band enough to look at them objectively. But, many of my friends and other people I've "polled" who were alive in the 90's, even though they're not crazy Pearl Jam fans, admit how much these boys influenced certainly their decade if not the course of rock and roll. When I discuss Pearl Jam, which I love to do, one of the bigg

It just goes to show you the lesson I learned in my college days, Ted...never put any effort into anything.

I was thinking about that adieu again, "Don't let that smile get away from you", and I got another meaning from it. Your smile is your own. It's unique. Sure, it can be similar to another's smile, but it's not a perfect copy of anyone's. And you have many different smiles, each with it's own qualities. So don't let it get away from you, and use it as often as

I was just sitting in McDonald's a few moments ago, reading a book at eating my value meal. I rode my bike 10 miles today, so I figured McDonald's wouldn't be TOO bad, because I would have eaten it anyway, probably, and I think the net calories is in the red. Anyway, a man who was vaguely familiar to me as someone I used to serve when I worked at McDonald's

haha...I think it was abundantly obvious that I didn't have anything to say. Nothing of any legitimate value, anyway.

So, loyal readers, I know I haven't been on in a while. My computer is bastard. Long story short: it broke, and a week later I got it fixed. All bymyself. now I'm running XP and I love my computer again. I'll write later when I really have something to say.

My mom got entered into a drawing last week for a $2500.00 cash give away. She had to go back up to the casino tonight to see if her name was going to be drawn. Normally, I hate going to casinos, and my mom knows this. She asked me to come with her, and I obliged, thinking I may win enough money to buy the coveted "Ninja Gaiden". I did not...but my mom gave me the money to gamble, so it's not l

I must admit, I'm intrigued by this "baggin out" Also, all you Aussies, tell me what you know about Kiribati.

I've been a fan of baseball for the past few years now. I had a minor interest in the sport as a kid, but I was one of the multitude who lost interest after the Player's Strike of a decade ago. At that point in my life, the only strike I understood occured when a batter whiffed a fastball. My interest peaked again a few years ago, when my homestate Minnesota Twins became real contender

yeah, but it didn't ask my age when I went to take the test. I'm not saying you're NOT a genius, but I am saying that this test won't prove it.

My Sophomore year of college, I had a Somalian roommate named Omer. He was a character, and this is but one of the many hilarious stories we have of him. Omer would always eat really weird food...being from Somalia and what not. One of the things he ate like every day for 2 months was some ground up hamburger and spices that he kept in a greasy grocery bag at the bottom of the fridge

Okay, I didn't take this test, but I'll tell you just by looking at the intro that it's not a traditional IQ test. Your IQ is based on your Chronological Age (how old you are) divided by your Mental Age (based on your answers). The fact that the test didn't even ask for you chronological age makes it B.S. Chris

Today at work we were looking for something to do. Matt had made a list of stuff for us guys to do, because honestly, we're the only ones who really do anything around there. The woman who works the Service Counter (it is invariably a woman) is justified in not doing anything extra, because she has to stay there the whole time to answer phones and what not. But everyone else in the night shift?

Nicky, I, too, am a Parking Lot Vigilante. If someone parks like that, and I park next to them, and intentionally open my door quickly, just in case it will be long enough to scratch. I don't do this if people park like assholes way in the back of a nearly empty lot, because at least they're not being dicks about it. My friend Brandon owns some vinyl cutting equipment (to make decals for cars and what not) and we always had the plan to go
