I've heard quite a few people saying they get UAC error messages on XP using DX, That is why I'm asking him what version of DX he is using. I rolled back to previous version - the current version is quite buggy and has some dll's missing for some reason.

You will find that most of the screen shot artists will comment on your shots. They don't necessarily bother to rate the screen shots. I rate them if I download them and I do try to look at as many as I can if the site isn't giving me a hard time downloading. That's an interesting, and telling, statement. While I can't give percentages, I suspect a majority of skinners skin for everyone else; meaning they tend to follow and emulate what is popular and gets a lot of attention, downloads, etc, as opposed to skinning for themselves. You completely misunderstood my point...thats why it was prefaced with 'If anything'...meaning,if it were true that gender influenced promotion,being female would be an advantage.The site needs more female skinners.(the site would go out of their way to encourage lady skinners) If a feminine skinning style was a detriment to promotion,she's exempt from that too.
