Are you online working in DX or offline ? I find that DX constantly will not respond when I try working offline. The latest version of DesktopX will not allow me to apply more than one change or I'll lose what I'm working on.. I just work online when using desktopx..

Tapeman2: i bet i would be a master skiner if i didnt have to pay $150 to make the skins So what is your point ? You want to skin to make money only ? I suppose if thats your mission in life you best get started making skins and make sure you hang out in the forum 24 hours a day because there are lots of members that have been here for years and make skins they share freely and haven't been promoted beyond Apprentice. Your question was answe

I've had this happen twice in the past 2 months..but I was lucky that it was just one sub menu that just disappeared. Unfortunately its just one of those oddities that happens...I always keep a screen shot of my menus so I can redo them pretty fast now. Hopefully next version of RC will solve this oddity. But...if you use RC like some of us do, you can't live without it now.

How in the world did she get halfway down in the first place?! Hmmm...good point considering the 'Rubenesque' upper portion, I'm thinking 'thunder thighs' are a given..

I have a simple theme that I use. It has three objects and hides the desktop icons. Two of the objects remember their location when reloading the theme and one doesn't. Is it an issue with the object or with DesktopX? The object is VistaWeather. It is on the second monitor, but so is one of the objects that does remember it's location. Thanks, Mark Have you tried opening the Theme while in DX Builder mode...positioning everything where you w

Lastly, I thought about that Smedley and just figured if WC.com had a rule or issue with that sort of thing they would block it out. I just thought it wouldn't look right with that all of that on the bottom. From now on I'll keep it on. Wouldn't it have made more sense to read the rules of the site before you submitted anything rather than submit and wait to see if it was an issue ? After all...when you upload anything the end screen actually m

Ok, I'm trying your suggestions now -- do I need to click the menu in the right place so that the clock appears on the menu? Once I've done that will it remember and appear on the menu wherever I click? I've done that but still no luck! My word this is the silliest system in the world!!! I can't believe it! I've clicked the right menu several times until the clock is in the right place (Vista Clock) but as soon as I click somewhere else, the clock is still in the old p

Thanks for your reply but I'm still not having any luck! I followed your instructions but I cannot position the widget where I want it -- when I try to move it, the right-click menu moves instead! I tried the second suggestion of unloading first, and then the widget does appear, but always in the same place on the screen regardless of where I right-click! Again, if I try to move the widget, the right-click menu moves instead. I tried with a battery meter widget instead

If its all the widgets giving you a problem ...try clearing the widgets cache .. but usually unloading the RightClick program after adding the widget 'before' right clicking anywhere - solves the problem...after reloading program...rightclick close to the top of your screen....then it should be ok after that..

The problem I am having is inserting a Widget onto the right click menu, as shown in one of the screenshots on the StarDock site. I am trying to add the Silica Clock to the right click menu. Sometimes I get a small extra space in the menu where the clock should be, other times I get a large white space where the clock should be and still other times I get the large space, but the clock appears in one fixed place on the screen and cannot be moved. If I right click

It is a disease very much a part of the internet world. If I could give everyone in the world a free car, there would be those that would complain of having to buy gas. Just the way it is...life in the big city. I promise I won't complain Ken..can I get mine in metallic rose ? Make it a convertible too

I've just downloaded the Pirates Suite - I have the suite running and it looks good! Now, Where do I extract the items within the zip file with a gadgets\--subdirectory to? My problem is how to get the calendar, clock, etc to run. I'm using Object desktop - windows xp (sp2). I' also looking for the Icon pack - can't seem to find it in the zip file(s). Did you install this using the theme manager ? If so the IP should be in Icon Packager.<br

I feel like I shouldn't use the forum anymore because no matter what I say I get slammed. No one sees it as information or opinion. Maybe because the point of this post was to state a fact that another website has uploaded tons of stuff from members here and the post was written to give the authors the opportunity to ask that their work be removed. You seem to want to turn this into a debate or a drama. I see no point to the repeated ' info' you k
