What do you do if what you described still doesn't work? Are you sure the sdmcp.exe is enabled ? The link I left might have been confusing...it is not a link to Stardock Central but a link to the sdmcp.exe to directly download to your computer. sdmcp.exe WWW Link I'll bump the post up, maybe someone else has another suggestion...I rarely use the systray in object dock.

I have done that but when i tooltip, my large cursor blocks the text Even when you make cursor be just ' hand' ? I never had that problem but I use small cursors. Im sure what your asking might be done through script but Im clueless on script. I read the tool tip tutorial but got a little lost, so can anyone help me find a simple way to make a default label appear on mouse-over or to have to default tool tip appear a bit lower or to the side so it isn't blocked by cursor. Is there a plan in place to work on the Icon Developer program I am having trouble recoloring a set of icons. I believe the problem lies within the program , but am not sure. the icon set i am trying to recolor is by "mrSkope" , SE Interface v2 (red) . Make sure the sdmcp.exe is enabled or your systray icons won't show.. enable through Stardock Central (Under tools in SDC you can check off to enable MCP smartstartup. ) If you do not have SDC you can download it directly from this link: WWW Link

Well, I've had an idea floating around in my head that I think would make it easier and fun for beginners to skin. What if in SKS, or even a separate app, for each GUI element you had a drop down list of pre-made graphics with the ability to control the hue, tranparency, contrast, etc. For example, you open up the brand new "Skin Wizard" utility that comes with SKS. Night Train made a demo blind like your referring to. I think it's still in the Skinartistry Library. I kinda figured he had something in that line , I know he helped a lot of people with skinning questions. But I was referring to something that would come with Skin Studio...a step by step skin-a-blind guide. Sometimes more people are able to grasp a concept if they run through an actual procedure than read a tutorial.

I became familiar with that i using ObjectBar and RightClick Your right - I learned a lot making RC skins... A simple RC skin can be made using the skin tool that comes with the program but the 'good' stuff comes when you understand all that garbage in the ini pad and you use Skin Studio to move the margins so you can add graphics to the menu. Cursors to use with CursorXp program or just cursors in general ? There are tons of cursor sites ...just google away .. If your looking for cursors that are used with the program CursorXp ( which is what you need to download to use wincustomize cursors - there is a free version ) , Deviant Art has a section with Cursors...most of the sites associated with WC have cursor sections. But I cant believe you cant find a cursor or 2 in the WC library..it has quite a selection.

Well, nothing personal, but did You really understand what is so special about it compared to other skinnable apps ? Yes...its way easier to skin and accepts the psd files...( although I still don't love the unskinned playlist ) I understand your enthusiasm..but lets not forget other applications in the meantime.
