I feel better now - I hate being the only one with wierd stuff happening. As long as its just a bug that resulted from some of the new activity then I wont drive myself nuts ... I hadnt been to forum before that to see the changes . Thanks Windoe .

Mystery upload error message in WinCustomize Site Issues WinCustomize Forums

I guess that explains why I cant upload a simple screen shot. New Forum. I Don't even know how to use this so I guess Im on my own to figure out the messages that make no sense. Each day its like an obstacle course to get around here. All I wanted was to upload a simple screen shot . After 5 or 6 tries I decided id come to the forum where im met with a new forum that i cant find my way around. I agree Fairyy... I delete anything that I download and later find out to be a rip. It's just the principle. I ended up deleting the zip unopened..didnt want to be enticed ..

Thanks, Karen for the info about posting. I'll use that control v next time I have trouble. Karen, your readings seem alot higher than everyone elses. Are you running off a broadband account or a dsl or dialup? Dial-up but other traces had much lower numbers than the ones I posted this am... I havent been here all day till after 8Pm

Well I guess its my turn today to not be able to get anywhere...I started logging in this site around 7:05 am...Took forever to even get off front page. Everything I click on gets " Service Unavailable " I've been able to access my skin list once...so here are 3 trace routes taken since I first logged in at 7 14 am.... okie dokie. I paste my results in the comment box, click to post comment and nothing shows up. New Forum does that...use ctrl V to paste in comment box then it works. Ive been using ctrl C to copy and Crtl V to paste just about everything in forum..seems the other causes issues.

Did this happen when you applied the skin with Firefox open ? Or are you saying before you even open FF ? This happens whenever I apply a skin with Firefox open. You can remove the bookmark bar like Zubaz suggested ( I like my bookmark bar ) Usually just close Firefox and reenter site works for me.

I also downloaded it but havent opened it and installed it. I just have a thing about using ripped work. Its like knowing a gift you recieved was bought with stolen money - so everytime I look at it - thats all I'm reminded of...I know - sounds a bit hokey but stealing is stealing. Tons more windowblinds to use that wont make me feel im condoning bad behavior.
