Every major browser has support for it, Yahoo! Widgets has support for it, how come there isn't something for DesktopX? Enter DXCanvas, a DesktopX drawing plugin that implements the Canvas spec (plus some DesktopX-specific additions). The image below next to the Canvas Controller is dynamically created from script (actual code used: ~50 lines of VBScript)

It's a DX scripting plugin implementing the canvas object (loosely, as I don't plan to allow CSS color values for gradients, at least in the first version). What you see on the picture is half script/half hard-coded in the plugin (the sphere and setting the pattern as the source to the fill). I'll open a new thread when it's ready for testing. As long as you have a directshow filter for AAC or MP4 installed and registered (such as CoreAAC), Windows Media Player will use it to decode the audio. You can then control WMP to play the file. If you want to distribute a stand-alone player without the need to install those filters, that's another story :D

Using Process Monitor, Reflector and the Reflexil addin. Sorry, I won't give any more info than that. Doing it to try the dock on my own computer is one thing, giving the exact steps to allow others to do it is another. I'm not sure Stardock or Dell would like it very much and I don't want to find out.

The installer is checking for existing files (it will only update or repair an existing install). Adding the needed file will get you the Dock installed. After that, it's only a matter of making sure it's thinking you're running it on a Dell. Since I couldn't be bothered to check what exactly it was looking for (probably the computer manufacturer and/or model), I hand-edited the IL to let the checks return true every time ;P

Some screensavers will work on both monitors because they have code to support multiple monitors. If it only shows up on one of the monitors, chances are it's not multimonitor aware. You can look into Ultramon ( http://www.realtimesoft.com/ultramon/ ). It can put a different screensaver on each monitor.
