All is well with Vista 64 with UAC on!
Good! Can somebody confirm that it's also working with UAC turned off (preferably running the plugin for the first time so there is no leftover from a previous run).

New build is available (compiled in release mode with no expiration). The UAC problem should hopefully be history. Time to recompile all my scripting plugins [e digicons]:(O[/e] and update the DX docs/SDK.

Mmmhh, doesn't make sense. Are you and Zubaz using Avast! AV or running with UAC off? Those null errors is something I remember happening with DXCanvas. Does any of my other plugins work?
The build this mornign worked better . . it at least returned results (even if I got the error).
You did not get any results, that was leftovers from my computer [e digicons];P[/e] Being just a quick test object, its script is pretty bad. sViz: Thanks for all the tests! The "Primary: Yes" is not actually working, it's just a boolean test that happens to be True, but it's not calling the plugin in that case. You are seeing the same stuff I did whe

Is that the gadget or loading the dxpack? It's working on my Win7 main computer, in my XP VM and on a fresh install of Vista RTM in another VM. So maybe I fcked up something else in the dxpack (again). Can you try using the gadget (in the SysControl folder) and see if it works better. There is a possibility the dxpack isn't installing the plugin properly, especially on Vista. Try copying the dll manually to the DesktopX\SDPlugins folder, this might fix the error.

Yeah, I included a broken version of the widget [e digicons]:S[/e] . Please redownload the zip file, it should be fixed now. I also made a quick change to the plugin and it might have fixed the loading error (that's the strange error number). If not, let me know. It should work with any number of monitors, so if you only have one monitor and still get the error, it's definitely a problem with the plugin. If you look at the script, you'll also notice that I use the existing Sy

Update: this plugin functionality has been merged into DXSystemEx. You can get the new plugin here . This is a very small plugin for DesktopX that exposes command line information in your scripts, allowing you to act on certain parameters. It also adds a new callback that is called when anothe

First test build is now available. There isn't a lot of documentation yet, so you will have to look inside the sample object script.
Neil and Jafo, go to http://sourceforge.net/projects/synergykm and ask them for help. They got it going three years ago.
What are you trying to achieve exactly? Making more disparaging remarks is not going to help MP be released any time sooner...

The delay between game release and availability on Impulse is only going to get shorter with time. IIRC a big problem was the big backlog of games to add and the crappy net connection Stardock had (which made uploading games to Impulse servers a big pain). There are some infos on the Demigod video diary (starts at 14:10): http://islanddog.impulsedriven.net/article/353895/Demigo
Today's update with a CVP change not a Demigod change. It won't affect, one way or the other, what rage quitting does. When you're in the game, that's all Demigod not CVP.
Got a crash in my last game when someone disconnected. Hard to say if this is caused by the last update or if it simply triggers it and it now happens more frequently. Log (but no dump [e digicons]:'([/e] ) sent to the right people.

Hi! You should contact support with your computer information so that they can try to work out the problem. Just drop an email to [email protected] explaining your problem. Make sure to include as much information about your computer as possible (operating system, CPU, amount of memory, version of ObjectDock, etc.). In any case, if they cannot make it work on your computer, you will most certainly be eligible for a refu

Mebion: Go to the [link="https://www.stardock.com/support/"]Stardock support page[/link] and put the email address you used when downloading MyColors. Your Quest serial number should be in the email you receive. If not, simply go the [link="http://www.impulsedriven.com/quest"]MyColors Quest page[/link] and add it to your account. IIRC the first version of MyColors came with Quest included in the installation and thus did not require registering it to your account. Now that it does, yo

I think support for Windows 7 qualifies as a new feature [e digicons]O:)[/e] A lot of old skins are a bit broken (in the same way skins for XP sometimes broke on Vista), but otherwise it's pretty nice. Not all skins play nice with the new taskbar, but overall Neil did a pretty good job using parts from Vista.

The builds I know of are: 535u Impulse and Stardock Central (release) 537u Stardock Central (beta) 538u Impulse (not available anymore because of some problems) The last build still available is 537u, but you cannot get it from Impulse, you have to install Stardock Central and check "Show pre-release versions" to be able to install it.
