Thanks for the reply I run defualt theme on the browser so I dont think its that. I tried taking the bookmark tool bar off and the problem has stopped. Kinda wierd

I use firefox for a browser and on some skins the viewable area in the browser will bounce up and down slightly ( I cant think of a better way to describe it). This only happens with some skins and normally its the ones I like the most. Anyone ever have this problem and know how to fix it?

Im trying to make a tabbed start menu with links to the file search, control panel and run command. My question is does anyone know how or where the actual executable for those files are? I tried windows system32 but didnt find them unless they are named something different. Thanks in advance if any know.

Its full version and it is UIS2 i even set it all back to defualt windows blue settings in my skin its still gone. It shows in any other skin though I bet its something really small and stupid im over looking

Actually its the whole thing no bars no down menu nothing i cant figure it out. My images match the background and if i load another skin everythings there its kinda strange.

Anyone know why the special task panel might not show up in a skin I created? All the attributes are set right and it shows up with other skins but when I load the one im working on its just not there. Any ideas? >

I found another thread on the tga's so it kinda answers first question but can anyone explain why when i make a button transparent in psp8 then save as a png then put it into skinstudio it makes a black border? It does convert it to a tga though. Thanks again if anyone can help

Can anyone explain the differance and why ones better than the other? Also I remember reading that while skinning I should always try to tile the image when availible but sometime this make things look funny. Does leaving it streched hinder performance? Thanks for any help once again

Help with windows background skinning in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

Can anyone explain how to skin the background in skinstudio. I have 3 attribute in personality. They are windows background explorer windows background dialog and windows background MDI all have a simple greyscale bmp 50x50. It shows in preview window but not in test window nore if I apply it. Any help appreciated

Can anyone point me to a good beginner tutorial for skinstudio. Ive been through these links and did a forum search but most seem out of date. Ive got the one by Aleksyandr and spoono. Im looking for something even more basic. Thanks for any help
