The poll results appear to provide the permissions needed, but I'm not sure what questions it really wanted answered. It's certainly open to mischief. For instance, a vote for 'anything that supports the site', could in theory include a yearly sacrifice of a virgin skinner, to appease one or more of the old Gods. It fails to deal head on with any one particular issue. I figured that while the 'I don't care' voters appeared at first glance to be more cynical and dismissive of the poll,

While the thread is active, I would like to take advantage to check a couple of things out. Is there consensus that these commercially funded sponsorship slots can be reasonably described as adverts? If so, are they being implemented through the mechanism of the existing qualification that I had previously noted could be drawn from the statement below. Context: I presently only have reasonable site access for approx 10-12hrs per day. (it takes me that long to write some of my posts ;)) If my computer access was restricted to evenings (UK time) I would struggle to access the site at all. So for me, extra goodies aren't so much the issue, as being unable to cache already needed scripts from existing servers. It is only this site, it is always the same time period, it isn't client dependent, nor does it matter whether or not I'm logged
