Ian you're obviously trying quite hard for the answer and doing so very tactfully. Different people have been having slightly differing experiences with SP2, possibly depending at which point they installed it. If you type sp2 in the search box above you will find it lists several threads, some of which may pertain directly to your experiences.

I remember watching the Houston concert on Telly - it really was very impressive. Is this this Amazon.co.uk link any good to you at all? http://www.amazon.co.uk/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00004CMII/qid=1093876005/sr=1-1/ref=sr_1_19_1/026-3798035-7678810 [Message Edited]

I think most of what you're experiencing is probably related to the macromedia flash in the header and other related java applets/scripts that the site refers to. Firefox doesn't support ActiveX. [Message Edited]
'lack', not 'have'... Nope - not lack and not have - 'leave' a lot to be desired. (I don't really care, I just felt like ripping Jafo's spellchecker) [Message Edited]
I think Bill's already acquainted - Linspire was formally Lindows Don't you just hate it when someone pips you to the post (literally). [Message Edited]
There is at least one unofficial Gmail notifier add-on for Firefox, although use of it may technically be in breach of the G-mail agreement. http://weblogs.mozillazine.org/doron/archives/006003.html I guess this sort of integrates Firefox and Gmail
http://www.linuxquestions.org/ This appears to be an informative site DW. I was looking into this myself a short while ago, I was also gonna go and play with the Mandrake route. One thing I noted was that on the Forums there seemed to be a little concern about how nicely Mandrake 10 played with XP when it came to the built-in partition device. If you have the facility and don't wanna risk it, I would advise Partition Magic or something similar, unless its on a 'throwaway' drive that

So for the rest of us Fuzzy - what if any conflict issues did you experience particularly in relation to Stardock applications and how did you resolve them ? [Message Edited]
In a related item I note that Stardock has entered an agreement with Samuraiworks of Japan. It will be interesting to see if as a result some Eastern oriented (ho ho ) Windowblinds find there way back here.
Okay, its no good I can't stand it any longer - would someone tell me, that is give me one concrete example or prediction of something terrible that will happen to me as a result of using G-mail. Anything at all that you can predict on the basis of known information that you believe will actually, perceptably and negatively impact my life on a tangible level. This negative consequence must of course be something that wouldn't happen if G-mail didn't exist. (as I presume its possible t
Hopefully thats on its way to you now Chris
Partly in the spirit of sharing and partly cos I know it winds some folks up terrible like - I can offer a couple of G-mail invites. Of course if you are in the business of overthrowing Governments, gun running or other illegal activities your right to privacy may be superceded for the good of the whole. Those of you approaching 30yrs of age should seek to have your crystal altered or accept as a result of using these accounts you will inevitably be caught by runners and subjected to carousel.
TSF - less with the G-mail, more with the icons. Rumour has it DWatson hasn't slept for 2 days . As for G-mail its just another option to be used as the individual considers to be appropriate for them and those they contact - as with all things it will find its level. Darn - DWatson managed to get his post in first lol [Message Edited]
You gotta look a little more closely - its PN as in Product Number 03. Try these: http://www.morbidcreations.com/pn03/pn03_media.htm http://www.customize.org/details/23718 http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=mozclient&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&q=PN+03+wallpaper
Hippy there are 2 exact duplicate screenshots. One dated 21st August from EliteZeus - and an exact duplicate right down to the file size dated 22nd August by nfunmbe . If its possible for this to be a file error I would have assumed that. Otherwise someone is testing the definition of screenshot to the nth degree. I believe Elite has let his feelings be known.
Is this today then ?
Hey Tiggz For what its worth I'm 99.9% sure I didn't have to alter this and if I'm looking at the right line (26) then its still set to format F - so must be affected by a priority I've set somewhere else on mine.
I can't remember configuring anything else - but its been so long since I set up Sysmetrix. If you look in the documentation search index for celsius - it should offer formatting as an option which once chosen shows you how to force the reading you want. Beyond that all I can tell you is that I'm running XP SP1 with Sysmetrix 3.2.0 and that the K-SYS theme is showing Celsius on my desktop for both weather and cpu. [Message Edited]
I have this theme showing Celsius for both weather and cpu - so please check and confirm that you have in preferences > weather - checked the box that says 'use metric units'
Ya see IR, this is why I keep on trying to lay pixels down - it gets you away from stress and into a like-minded community. #14 by Skinner NightTrain2002 - 8/9/2004 3:58:25 PM I will settle for Journeyman. Mind you the cost is s
/me wanders in and realises why windowblinds are such an important part of Fuzzy's life. Stopping only for a brief titter, and recoiling from an unexpected slap from a passer-by, moves on to investigate this new confectionary - the chocolate bangage.
That really kicks bottom IR (well I am English ) Cheers.
