Ok let me correct it Plague, a group of friends and Greek companies will make one ONLY for WA skins but more news in WA forums soon....... I've thrown them that idea last week, with prizes only cash, so everyone can buy whatever he wants, and other goodies.... PS: I think will be only for European Union citizens, still discussing about that. Anyway, yeah let's move to forums, river never goes back in any chance.

Frogboy sorry tobother you once more, but yeah we WILL make our own international competition as a winamp community real soon (I'll inform you to know if you are interested) and this competition won't have any catchy and illegal name such is "Olympics" :) PS: Just a question, do you (not you personaly but the organizers) have licence to use this name or written permission from International laws? I've got this question 2 months ago from an Greek friend of mine over www.pcmag.gr (Greek PC M

Davebo, I think Muniom was talking about Winamp Modern skins, those require alot time and effort to be completed, of course Classic skins too, but it's not compared those 2 kind of skins. As about Icons, I agree that they need alot of time to make a great set, also WB skins, the number of those submitions added so far represents the mood artists had before GUIO and now...... I think.

Frogboy I'm back :) Sorry to bother you my dear "messenger" and administrator afterall, but I think you or any other responsible owns an explanation to me. Why my 3 Skins (H2O liquid, WooHoo-FER and GrayZ) are removed? Did I asked from you or anyone else to remove them? And if they are removed from my posts in here just say it that this section is not democratic or you can't handle some facts and points from users that YOU invited to participate in YOUR competition. Thanks in advance.

StillWater I agree as about Classic skins totaly. As about the judges and their payments, well WinCustomize is a big site, has adds, tools to sell, Stardock too, you think they don't have money or sponsors to pay those 40 for example I suggested? I don't think so......

Too few for 180 total submitions so far, and it's an International Competition wich has the name "Olympics" only this word should make you re-consider some things before starting up, let's hope the next time will be better (and remember to NOT add Winamp on the contest cause we, the WA Modern Skins creators are whinners cause we see things from the real viewpoint and from the effort/time we spent for our creations). Good luck.

StillWater: For WB you're kinda right BUT remember that this is an International and famous competition, and WinCustomise should MAYBE have MORE judges, seperate on any way of partitipation let's say, 10 for Icons, 20 for WB and another 10 for WA Skins, not just 6 people to do all this work...... So this show to me weakness or not professionalism at the state an International Competition needs, and specialy as Greek participating in a competition having the word "Olympics" on it's title seems

Can the judges explain to us at least how a skin can be "Most Usable" and same time "Best Power-User" ???? (And I'm talking about the winner on both 2 events you said Frogboy) And no, we don't judge the contest as about WB and Icons where seems to be ok by me, (I don't use WB or IconPackager at all)........ Judges if where so experienced, should recognise what skins took alot of time and effort to be done and don't judge only with what skin fits in their desktops better or to their girlfr

"From this non-judge vantage point (i.e. speaking for myself), it just looks like some people didn't like the results of one of the Winamp events and are complaining." No Frogboy, seems that many people agree with us, only your 5 judges had different opinions :) A constructive question, to the finished WA categories the skins participated now can be submitted on other websites? or this is also against the rules now they are "judged" ? Let's stop all bitching, we are alot and only Frogbo

No cause till then (in 2 years from now I believe) maybe will be no Winamp out there...... no one knows, but don't expect to have teams that put effort to make any Interface design on independent application as (Winamp, Sonique, WMP etc.) and to waste their time again to participate on such events...... And a small advise, next time setup the website to be able to handle this event, put it on a fast (at least for the Europeans) server, make a reliable custom configurable easy database, and th

Now I know we ALL here have different tastes as about the results in 3/4 of the WA categories, BUT how Professionals are those judges to listen to each skin comment and NOT see for themselves? are they so lazy to test skin by skin in category after category and having notes of what each skin has /is able to do /features added on it etc. to REAL JUDGE them all????? I remember you Frogboy for example asking for MORE submitions 3 weeks ago in WA skins cause there was only 17....... don't tell
