To be honest, I would not want to see them on the end of a rope... the sentiment is just a way of expressing the anger I feel for the greed driven destruction they have caused, particularly to those who can least afford the consequences of this financial meltdown.  However, while I am a non-violent pacifist who does not believe in taking another human life, do do believe these people should be punishied for the damage they've caused... siezing their assets would be one way, and prison terms for those who broke the law to profit.

Meanwhile, Sarah Palin's 'Igloos Across America' project is gaining momentum and backers. An un-named Alaskan engineer has put forward an idea to save on power/refrigeration to lowerinfrastructure costs.  This engineer, reportedly a relative of Palin, proposes to cut off a piece of the Arctic Circle and tow it South to somewhere in US central, thus negating the need for artificial cooling by naturally lowering the temperature with Arctic ice.

Another backer of the scheme, a great white hunter, is going to herd up all the polar bears and shoo them all over the Russian border to Alaska... the idea being to eliminate the eventuality of yellow snow and ice, something he believes would present a health hazrd to igloo dwellers and burden the health system.

Apparently, Ms Palin is quite enthusiastic and excited about the project, believing it will completely eliminate homelessness right across america.  OK, so she's a gun toting moose murderer, but I have to commend Ms Palin for investigating an alternative to the housing/mortgage crisis to what those reverse Robin Hoods are thinking... to give to the rich so they can keep stealing from the poor.

How could anyone vote for someone who supports babies that are born alive being left to die because it wasn't supposed to happen that way?

I just don't understand the ridiculous left. Killing babies is fine but killing animals is terrible.

The reminds me of the baby shower my work threw me after my 4th was born.  My best friend and coworker was there.  Some of the others gave me a "Do It Yourself" vasectomy kit.  I thought it was funny.  My best friend - still single at the tiem - would not touch it!

I simply don't understand how anyone that thinks killing an animal is wrong could agree that leaving an aborted baby (that is born alive) to die is right.

While it is not a requirement that if you are a liberal that you must support this, the guy being put on the pedestal as the liberal representative did vote in support of it.

And before you accuse me of being some right wing religious whacko, I realize that he merely voted in support of abortion language that he approved of and not necessarily for this specific language. I guess some of us respect human life and others respect it all the way until it comes in the way of our agenda.

What I think is that people are conglomerates of beliefs seemingly contradictory or not. No one has a right to criticize anyone else's beliefs. America is advanced citizenship: It's not enough to "tolerate" others' beliefs. You have to be willing to fight to the death to support the right of another citizen to espouse beliefs abhorrent to you.

It is precisely none of your business if another person can abort a fetus or not. Incidentally, a glom of cells or even a fetus is not a "killable" entity until it draws it's first breath. Just because there is a "conceptus", nothing says it will gestate successfully or be capable of life at birth. There is a spontaneous "loss" rate in each trimester. Therefore, no one can say with certainty that a terminated pregnancy would have ended with the birth of a viable human.

When a baby is aborted and is born alive and left to die. I do have a major issue with abortion in general. I am sure as a doctor you would love to debate at which point life begins. I think the good doctor's reply here speaks for itself... that it is wrong, and if you know of any such cases to report them to the appropriate authorities.  If so, you should do precisely that.  Now hopefully any differences are resolved and the matter is settled.
