Gateway Pundit has revealed all the details. The name of the Sarah Palin E-mail hacker/lamer is David Kernell, and he is (not surprisingly), the son of a Tennessee Dem State Rep.

and just where does this happen? if you have specific knowledge (not some rumor you've heard) relay it to the proper authorites immediately.

You really should read/view the news more. There have been hearings/reports on so called 'after-birth' abortions. One nurse recently gave information about her experiences.

In a nutshell, after forced birth abortions (saline injections, I believe), some babies are delivered still alive and are sent to a room to die ... sometimes it takes seconds or minutes; sometimes much longer.

And there's nothing to 'report' ... it's still legal. That is one of the issues some have with Obama. He voted to keep these abortions legal.

If you are relating to "Live Birth Abortions" I believe the cranial contents are evacuated first to allow for passage through the birth canal. This proceedure is done only with anencephalic fetuses, or in a case where delivery or C-section would severely endanger the mother. It is not undertaken lightly at all. It is a horrific outcome to catastrophic problems. It is not done for convenience. If it was done at anytime for such a reason it should be reported to the proper authorities, because it would constitute a crime or at least a severe ethics violation.

If I appeared 'dense' in not understanding the prior nonprofessional shorthand for this proceedure, you'll understand why. I am used to hearing it addressed in a professional manner.

You guys are all insane! it's clear none of these people you have all mention are fit for leadership of this nation.

It's time for a change. Forget national leadership! We need world leadership! We need leaders who have accomplished far more than anyone else. Who seen harder times than we can image and lead thier people through even better than before!

Zeratul for President!

My only questions are:

1) Does he speak/write/read Pirate?

2) What does he think about Sarah?

These are incredibly important questions and must be answered before I can endorse his candidacy.

I assume you've read the requisite literature for joining this learned debate and exchange of ideas?

Sorry about the lack of medical accuracy, Dr J (I'm a Network Engineer; not a Doctor, damn it! ... haha .. a little Star Trek humor there)

Partial Birth Abortion is the term I was looking for. Here's a little info.

In 1992, Dr. Martin Haskell presented his paper on this procedure at a Risk Management Seminar of the National Abortion Federation. He personally claims to have done over 700 himself (Interview with Dr. Martin Haskell, AMA News, 1993), and points out that some 80% are "purely elective." In a personal conversation with Fr. Frank Pavone, Dr. Haskell explained that "elective" does not mean that the woman chooses the procedure because of a medical necessity, but rather chooses it because she wants an abortion. He admitted to Fr. Frank that there does not seem to be any medical reason for this procedure. There are in fact absolutely no obstetrical situations encountered in this country which require a partially delivered human fetus to be destroyed to preserve the life or health of the mother (Dr. Pamela Smith, Senate Hearing Record, p.82: Partial Birth Abortion Ban Medical Testimony).
End of quote

Note: The paper referenced has graphic details of the procedure.

In fact there are. I am not a GYN, but I wonder who these "Experts" are and what axe they are grinding.

As this is an extremely sensitive subject and one in which I am not expert, I'll just refer you to the ACOG (The American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists) who know a good deal more about this subject than you or I or Dr. Pamela Smith(?MD? or PhD?).

Frank Pavone, Dr. Haskell explained that "elective" does not mean that the woman chooses the procedure because of a medical necessity, but rather chooses it because she wants an abortion. And the above quote appears as a "personal communication" with a Priest. They are hardly an objestive source...and Martin Haskill, MD is who? I am not a GYN nor have I ever done such a proceedure, but his name doesn't exactly rank with W. Ostler, MD or Dr. Reid or any really renowned M.D.

If someone suspects or witnessed a proceedure not medically indicated again I adjure him/her to report it to the proper authority.

To inject some "science" here: Please go to the following Link:

http://www.acog.org/from_home/publications/press_releases/nr09-22-06.cfm

It gives a far more accurate and non emotional rendering of things, as well as the refutations of those supposed "experts".

Let's also remember just who signed the Act into law: You guessed it! The same incompetent (GWB) that opposes any and all science because he doesn't understand it? No: Because he panders to the Evangelical vote for his "Party"(and other segments such as opposing Kyoto and regulation and illegal immigration for his corrupt corporate cronies). Yet another great reason to change the system completely.

XD Sorry, the mispelling of his name strikes me as funny ... has kill ..yep about 700 by his count .. hehe ... ok, I know I've got an odd sense of humor. I'm not making light of all the unborn children he performed the procedure on .. just the irony in the mispelled name.

Did you read the paper presented at the National Abortion Federation? Bloody disgusting! .. although I realize for Doctors, many medical procedures that would turn the stomachs of regular folks probably seem like old hat.

As in a lot a things, you've got one side saying these procedures are regularly done as a matter of choice and the other side saying they are only done in dire emergency as needed to save a woman's life, the reality is probably somewhere in the middle; some done by choice and some done by necessity.

However, there's your smoking gun Dr J! Someone should probably let the Senate know that Dr. Pamela Smith perjured herself... federal crime, you know. ;)

LW just pm'd you.

Medical proceedures need to be reviewed by who? Clerics? Politicians?

What's next....a police officer or Homeland Security  or a Mullah in an operating theater? How about we ask McCain's permission to do appendectomies, or nose and mammoplasty.

I say get everyone's nose back in his/her business where it belongs.

I don't want Evangelicals or JW's on my doorstep uninvited or in my exam room (also uninvited) preaching their brand of "G-d's Word" which they know is "Absolute Truth" because it's "G-d's Word" (that constitutes a tautology).

What prattle: When I runs into a bloke wot thiks 'es 'earin' The Big Cap'n talkin' I checks 'is 'ead fer echoes I does, 'coz likely 'es a few puppies short of a pet shop.

"Witnesses" and others that come forward to give "Testimony" are easily quoted but cannot be crossexamined. Therefore, it's a no go for me and an invalid tool for an argument.

I'm quite skeptical about motives of these witnesses.

Who's sponsoring them? Who's paying their tab while they're at a "Conference" or in front of a House or Senate Committee? What is this person's ideological/religious affiliations? These questions bother me as there's no way for me to find out, and the answers go directly to motivation required to give that "testimony" and it's validity/reliability.

As I said, this is a touchy subject, best left for other places/times as it evokes highly emotional and therefore not logical responses.

On a different note, I hope you're feeling better than last week.

In news just to hand, Sarah Palin's bid to export replicas of her 'bridge to nowhere' to Japan has hit a pothole... er, speedbump, whatever. Big Arnie sent a Californian trade embassador to Tokyo and has pipped her at the post with his replicas of the Golden Gate Bridge. Apparently the Japanese are very enthusiastic about the deal because Big Arnie's bridge actually goes somewhere and is half the price of Palin's.  The Japanese are reportedly quite furious over Ms Palin's pricing policy, accusing her of attempting to grossly overcharge them in a bid to fund the 'cut a chunk off the arctic circle endeavour' for her 'Igloos Across America' project.

The Japanese have scientists and engineers in the Arctic on research missions, and while they believe 'cutting a chunk off mat be feasible, they state that it would be extremely expensive... not so much in the cutting and towing back to the USA part, but in cleaning up all the yellow snow after the polar bears have been rounded up and deported to Russia.  Japanese observers of polar bears note that they urinate around 2 gallons ten times per day... meaning it would take several men several days to de-piss the ice after just one polar bear, and an army of men to de-piss the Arctic after thousands of polar bears... and that doesn't take into account all the No 2's.  An un-named member of the Japanese Parliament suggested Ms Palin use Mexican labour to help speed up the process, but she angily rejected it and summarily slammed the phone down in his ear.  So much for foreign policy/relations!

Oh well, unless the Russians beat her to it with polar bear meat, she still has moose meat to Britain to make up for the meat shortfall caused by mad cow disease.
