Dooku,

Ray and a few others have mentioned that the stats pages seem to take a turn or two to update - with new starbase construction, etc. Might this be the issue? If they're still around in half a dozen turns, you might want to check back to see if this has changed.

I work from home on Friday, jamming to the Rolling Stones (Sympathy for the Devil is my fav), playing GalCiv, and of course working when I get a chance. The guys at work are jealous as hell, but of course this is the benefit of being a Jedi Knight.

I don't know what qualifies you as being a Veteran, but I bought the game when it first came out and registered my account with Stardock. I just never got around to submitting games to the Metaverse until this month. So I don't know... go me

Well...technically, they only deserted the ANZACS. Since they disbanded Freedom Force, they really couldn't be called deserters.

BTW when they move from one empire to another do they take all their old scores too.. or do they just disapear.. I think that there should be some penelty for switching empires

Well Dooku, they got discouraged that no one joined FF after a week of trying so they decided to become a GROSS affiliate.

Everything goes, BlueSteel. Don't see why there should be a penalty though.

I think you attract players by sticking around for a while, and show them that you are for real. They could've really been a great empire. One week? Maybe they will reconsider at some point and reform their empire.

Perhaps the ANZACS need an image update? Maybe they should try and rebuild their empire based on a theme from down under. You know, to retain their identity but still give themselves a bit more pizazz and broaden their appeal. Something like "The Croc Hunters" only better. Then they might get more recruits from around the world.
