By the way, what could be more frightening than a mafia hitman who whacks you while wearing bunny slippers? What a callous disregard for his target, that he could knock someone off on the way out to pick up his morning paper and have his cup of java. I've got nothing against the wearing of black, I do it all the time myself. But the most evil people I know are all adding a little touch of cuteness, nothing major, and okay probably fluffy bunny slippers would be over the top, but its amazing what you can do with a small amount of colour to emphasise the vastness of your black. It could be a cartoon character keyring or mobile holder. Especially if you deliberately created that cartoon as a brain washing tool for the children...

The Rescue?
Just as the Dark Assasin finished speaking, he heard the cry of 'incoming.' It was the only warning he needed as he slipped into the shadows just in time to avoid being caught in the impact crater of a large white Drop Bear.

'Darn' exclaimed Cypher Pax as he dusted himself off.
'Dark, I don't suppose I'd be elgible for assasination lessons?
At 700 pounds, Cypher Pax was capable of firing the helicopter gatling gun from his hip. At hundreds of rounds per second, he was sure to get Dark Assasin this time.

Somehow Dark Assasin had survived the onslaught. But luckily, he saw what he had come for.

Bakka had escaped and here he was - no he was no longer a bat - he had reverted to his much less handsome pre-Posse (okay, ANZAC/Freedom Force) form. Cypher was a little disappointed he wouldn't have to shoot his way through the prison.

'I am here to rescue you, Bakka! Let's go...' Cypher shouted.

'Who says I need rescuing? You may need rescuing though....' Bakka snickered.

'Oh, boy.' Cypher looked down at his wrist communicator Q(uack) had given him. It had been smashed to pieces his oh, so graceful landing.
'I don't know that you have a choice... you know how Wombat and Jaws can be once they get an idea in their heads. I....'

A shadow lunged and Cypher Pax and went right through him. It was Dark Assasin -- Cypher was grateful to be wearing his leather Dopple Bear suit with the red cumberbum... acting as a cloaking / displacement device when activitated. The Quack liked to pretend it was spy gear, but Cypher knew it was just left over from the Quack's unsuccessful blue film 'The Invisible Man v. Leisure Suite Larry'

Cypher laid down suppresive fire leveling parts of the Evil Empire mansion (sort of like the scene from the first Tomb Raider movie). His hover bike had arrived and he dropped the min-gun and hopped on. Ashlyn was strapped into the baby seat on the back (it was rear facing to protect her from collisions and to allow her to serve as the tail gunner.)

'Daddy' she yelled as the bike speed off. Cypher flew over the hover vechile pool and dropped a fusion gernade, barely having time to get out of range.

Cypher flew to the nearby city - home of the Torian slaves and a large spaceport. Cypher had stashed a get away ship there.

'Goggie, Doggie' Ashlyn shouted excitedly.
'No, sweatie those are Torians' Cypher said as he patted her head.

He then realized that his daughters instincts had saved his life. The Torian had been following him and was able to microwave in a report. Cypher pulled out his sabre 'Sushi' and cut the Torian in three pieces. The nanoblade was so sharp he didn't feel resistance against the blade.

Cypher hurried to his getaway ship the 'Collinwood.' As he was about to board, he heard a sultry female voice. 'Stop right there and put your paws where I can see them.'

Cypher Pax put Ashyln on his shoulder and turned around paws in the air.
'Rainbird, What are you doing here? I thought you and Quack make such a cute couple.'

'You know I'm always wanted a polar bear skin rug for cuddling by the fire.' Rainbird said as he leveled the gun at Cypher Pax.

'I am not a polar bear, I'm a Bundy Bear! For goodness sake I thought you were Australian.'

'Silence.' hissed Rainbird.

Ashlyn started to cry and throws her rattle at Rainbird.

'Duck and cover!' shouted Cypher.

'Will you please leave the QUACK out of this?'

KABOOM! The German Concussion Gernade rattle exploded. Cypher had managed to cover Ashlyn but he was knocked cold by the blast.

When he woke up, he found 'Collingwood' in orbit. Worse, he was faced with an array of Micro-bots with an attitude. This was stange because he hadn't brought any microbots on the ship and in any case, micro-bots are not known for back talk.

Cypher tried desperately to communicate with Jaws amd Wombat, but the Microbots refused to let him. He wondered how the rest of Bakka's rescue was proceeding...

Hope you guys don't mind me contributing a story, the early two parts by Wombat and Jaws our on the Pirates of the South Seas thread.

i do have to admit, i think i spent more time in the forum then i do playing the game.

Dark Assassin (DA) got his information from a reliable source. He found CypherPax was vacationing on the moon of Vega VII. DA was drooling over this opportunity, the target thought he was safe, but he would find that where ever he would go would not get him away from the deadly DA.

DA set the DARK EVE down about 2 kilometers from the supposed hotel that Cypher was staying at. DA boarded his hover bike and set out after his prey. DA walked into the lobby and after a little convincing, involving the untimely death of an employee, got a set of keys to the room.

DA slowly opened the door, but his instincts told him that it was a trap; he could hear his ship calling out to him with her telekinetic powers. DA proceeded with caution. He opened the door and stood of to the side in time to see a photon laser burn a hole in the door across the hallway.

“Your source works for me, DA!” CypherPax shouted between barrages of shots. DA grew angry with Cypher’s stubbornness.

“Why won’t you die!”

“Leave me alone!”

“Never! You tried to kill me, I don’t look kindly upon death threats.”

“Then this won’t be the last time we meet.” Cypher jumped through the glass window down to his awaiting hover bike and took off into the night.

“We will meet again, slippery one.” DA returned to his ship and set course to the double agent’s home world. The idiot stayed home, he didn’t live much longer, long enough to feel the wrath of an angry assassin. “You failed me, you won’t again.” DA drew his light saber and reduced the traitorous agent to 10 separate pieces.
