Canadian Star Federation Thread

I figured it needed to be reposted since the #4 empire should have a current discussion thread active.

Hello fellow Canucks :) I just added my first score and was not impressed. 663 point military victory was reduced to 166.
What did I do wrong?

Using older version due to the patch not being to my liking. Waiting for 1.09..

Hmm a full month between posts on the CSF thread. No wonder I didn't even know it existed and I'm now the top CSF metaverse scorer. LOL

We really are a country of the undead.

Well I'll have to make it my mission to keep this thread at least near the front page.

By the way John Hughes let me go Theoden one further.

What the *#@*&!#$^&?

I play on occassion but I really do not have the time I used to.

Full time work, School part time and I have been spending time playing Tron 2.0, may get Halo.

Besides my style of game playing is no longer rewarded.

I wonder what I done to get busted to Citizen.

I am proudly part of the CSF.

But since I've gone from working 3 days a week to 4, and have picked up a Friday night Role Playing Group (Mage: The ascension one week, Chivalry and Sorcery the next), I've got less time for playing. :)

The problem with undead is that they are sneaky. They are willing to lie in wait for living flesh to come into range. I mean, can we ever forget the Canada Day offensive? So this Spymaster will still be a bit careful when sneaking around the graveyard.

Ah, Canada Day 2003. The day we were #1 for 5 minutes. :-)

Interesting thing about the undead... They move a little slow but never ever give up. Much like a glacier actually. :)

Just posted my 3rd game and my 2nd win. :D

Well, I can only make a feeble attempt to stop this threat: sleep... hockey season is near and it is time to sleep. :D If that doesn't work, then my one sure fire weapon vs. the Canadians has failed. :)

You folks have had a good record of being able to "play dead" and ambush unsuspecting empires. Thus is why I christened thee the undead, for the never-ending patience of lying in wait while being underestimated. "Nah, they ain't no threat to us!", then GRAB!, the zombie is clawing the life out of the victim.

Welcome moose :) Hope you stick around long enough to give maso a try, we could use the points ;)

For any other canadians interested in trying some maso games check out the thread entitled New Number One where Cotal the current number one player outlines her strategy for beating gigantic maso games and I added a few of my own humble tips.

P.S. Canucks 3 Oilers 0
Lions 28 Allouettes 24

It's a good day to be a Vancouverite :)

Gerakken,

"hockey season is near and it is time to sleep"

Yes... well I hate to disapoint you but not all of us follow hockey. Give us more time to lurk in wait for sorry ass pirates. Not that the undead really pay any attention to time. Being dead and all. :)

Humm... How to quote... Must discover this. :D

Ah... The 'Q'... got it.

We're the undead... Never give up and never give in. While others tire, we will continue to push forword. Ever after the warm living flesh of our victims. :)

Actually I've been lurking since the game came out. RL takes up time. :D

Hey... Chris. Good to see some more Canadians. I'm in Ottawa our nation's capital. Canadians of course know the name of our capital city, that was for the rest of you. :D

We just want to let them know we're still here and the hot fetid breah on the backs of their necks should worry them. :)

I'm also located in Ottawa. I'm originally a Maritimer though.

Just came here for the employment.

Hard to find good jobs in the Maritimes, or at least it was in the early 90s when I moved away.

Yeah... no better now from what I understand. I work with alot of Maritimers. Same old thing, no work. So you gotta go where you can get it. Ottawa's a nice city though. Clean, lotsa green. Both plant and paper wise. :)
