or play rare planets have them waring and be very close trade for all there combat transports and defenses on all their planets then invade with their own people, take em out on one turn get more planets, still think this is something that needs to be worked out because i feel ships should be worth more than they are and the civs should look at and not trade their planet defenses. I guess i can hope for gal civ 2

This may have been covered earlier but i didn't have the time to look, What is the difficulty for minor civs on a maso game i know they can cheat to get more ships, 1 planet 3 interceptors in one turn and they just got the shield tech (omega pack) but how do you figure difficulty, i tend to use them to get techs to catch up in maso games. But again how do you figure dificulty.

It has to be offered and it's done right after u get the tech i've experimented with this and if you reject it and try to get it right after it will be yellow. BTW the civs on maso difficulty/crippling expect a ton for techs that would give you a stronger military. But i've found that the minor civs tend to expect less.

it is common but not always, if your playing maso/tiny/rare then it is pointless almost to build anything but constructers but even then the other civs tend to get all the goods before you. I normaly set research as high as possible to get the transport tech and catch up tech wise as quick as possible, also i can normaly transport my troops to a minor civ planet to get another good planet or two i've played a maso where my pop was well over 4 times that of the other civs (never really looked).

I guess it doesn't matter at the higher difficulties especially maso which seems to start with more techs, constructers, and others, it's all about survival and staying out of peoples ways, Scary when you think about it that that's how it would really be if we ran into civs like these. Strategy doesn't work as well at higher levels is my point and isn't worth it.

Interceptor, I understand how it's supposed to give up range for firepower but even frigates can't defend against them without bonuses, and interstellar tactics is worth more than shields. I think the ship should be put in it's own tech b/c how do you get a better firepower ship when you research shields? Just my opinion but it's changed my game more than any other included in the pack

At crippling/small/rare i've found I can easily get 2 planets at the start and then quickly get 4-6 more against 1-3 civs, after this my population is 4-5 times the other civs and i am by far the favorite, i end up with all the TG's and far ahead in techs, i then trade them to the other civs for all there ships and invade, I quickly conquer the civs left when they only have 1 to 3 ships, why will the other civs trade all their ships to another civs when they have combat transport then outside al

Strange thing is it's only happened when all my opponents were intelligent i just played with all on genius and had no problem, so unless something in the omega pack is being researched that it doesn't like or one of the civs does something on intelligent it doesn't like, it didn't happen on genius like i said and i hope it's just the fact it was intelligent level.

Here's another strategy noob question from me. I find myself succeeding in games by only trading techs to other civs for cash. I use the 80% diplo bonus but i find it hard to compete with the other civs in the later stages b/c they have better weopons hit points and defence. I usually find myself winning only by alliance victory and after the good civs and me take out the evil ones. Is trading techs not always good I kno diplo ones are a no no and i usually don't trade trade goods. Should i

I'm assuming it's important, i've been taking out normal enemies with ease but when i up it to bright and inteligent, i've been having trouble, except for one game i believe that was small and won with alliance. I've been having trouble with them getting close to ally, what helps with this. Finnaly I always end up going far into debt and having to set my spending to about 50% for anything me to be into the positive. Thanks for your time please leave help.

Say you whore a tech with a diplomacy equal to the other civilization. Would you get twice the value if you had 2 times the diplomacy of the other civilization?

I'm just looking for a good order to build things out of all the buildings. I understand if moral is down then you need to build moral buildings but what is a good order for the normal planet?
