thanks Jafo that is a point that I didn't think of From my experience when I monitored web page content for Talk City, when we came across copywrited material (obvious material) the owner of the page would have 5 days to remove it before legal action would be taken. I don't know what that has to do with anything but thought I would throw that pre-coffee thought in.
What I want to do is use the background in the screenshot because I made the skin from the colors in the wall. I know colors are not copywrited. I plan on including a link to the wall where it was found. I don't know if I can include the author's name since no permission has been received. My last comment was cut short and I should have finished it before posting. My apologies. I don't like to step on anyone's work because I know how much time and thought are put into each
Thanks for the input I couldn't decide if it was wrong or not. Seems if a wall is online for download then it is there for everyone to use if not for profit.
Sorry if this is a stupid question or has been asked in another post. Can a wallpaper that someone has online as a download be used in a Windowblinds screenshot if the author neglects to answer requests for permission?
There have been a few posts about the server being busy and yet I have never encountered the server busy. I come here all times of the day and night and the only error I ever got was the victim thing. Is it possible that the ppl getting this server busy might be a result of their ISP connection.
Suggestions on how I can test the smart button for WIn 2k w/o knowing anyone with that OS would really be appreciated. FWIW.. I added a URL button and configured it to open the Favorite folder instead of a URL. Maybe this can work for different things like the ql folder. Not exactly a menu but something like a little better than nothing. "No one can ruin your day without your permission"
That brings up a question. I fixed the menu but how can I be sure it will work on a 2k machine if I don't have 2k installed.

I think there is a dll file in windowblinds that directs downloads. This may be wrong but may also be right. If right, try reinstalling WB.

what is with the need to have larger icons. my pc is almost 3yr old so I am thinking the newer ones need larger icons to see or something. seems to me that icons clutter up the look of a desktop. i have all the icons hidden so the view of the fantastic walls ppl make can be seen un-obscured. Is bigger an in thing now?

You could send them to Texas because everything is bigger in Texas. Seriously, I seen several ways but can't recall where any of them are. I use Microangelo On Display to manage icons but I think Icon Packager or TweakShell has settings for icon size. If you don't have either of those then I would assume that in the configuration of Windows there should be a setting.
