Not to say there are a great number of politicians who do that, but the democrats seem to want to run the country based on polls. cmon now...stop with the stereotypes. look at the GOP primary so far. the big story is the sell out of principles from the social conservatives because they believe that giuliani is the only guy who has a prayer during the general. and speaking of the GOP primary, let's not forget mitt romney, mr "convenient position change."

It doesn't surprise me at all that Hillary works just like her husband and votes however polls tell her to. Neither have the moral compass to pick a position and stay with it, and both rely entirely on the majority of the public to tell them what to think and do. i'm not goin there quite yet, but thanks for the comments.

Also, one could have a high GPA in every other required subject and still not graduate. You have to earn passing grades in EVERY mandatory subject. English is a biggy yeah, but i have a hard time believing that someone, despite any origin, could do that well grade wise and fail a basic skills test. they didn't say she failed english, and a 3.5 would suggest that failing english would be improbable. plus, i didn't see anything about her failing any classe

and my jury is still out with lincoln. i'm reading team of rivals now (have been, off and on for months now,,,it's a slow read). when i finish it, i'm sure i'll have some more definitive opinions and some reshaped ones. it's a really interesting book, just so damn detailed, it's very slow. but "the world is flat" was like that too somewhat, and that was the best thing i read in at least 5 years.

I could see where F.D.R. could easily be a person that shows up on both the best and the worst lists and would rightfully belong on either. there are several that different sides see much differently. perspective has a lot to do with it. but not always. after more thought, i don't think i'd put harding on that list. like brad said, his presidency was uneventful, but not horrible or anything. but it's all debatable. after all, it's politics.

You absolutely must follow up with an email after the interview. yes, that is a must. unless the company is not very email proficient. then a snail mail note will do. but get it out fast, as companies move at a quicker pace a lot of times today. if you wait a few days, the decision might be made by the time your not e is received. but follow-up is necessary. prompt, polite and professional.
