Hi milk. I use auslogics defrag as well, but I have never had any problems with it. One of the things I do right after defragging is re-boot my computer. If you don't re-boot, maybe try that and see if everythig works right then. If that doesn't work, I don't know what else to tell you. Maybe someone else will come along and chime in.

I just upgraded my PC...I build my own computers. Just installed a new CPU, RAM, and a video card...so, I will be ready for Windows 7. Unfortunately, no funds for a new laptop...gotta stay with the one I have...so, I will still be using XP on it...it is not powerful enough for either Vista or Windows 7....durn! :NOTSURE:
PC: Logitech wireless optical Laptop: Logitech corded notebook optical. (The wireless mouse interferred with my wireless network) I tried MS once...many years ago....awful mice! If you are using the art of someone else in your skin, you have to get that person's permission in writing and then include it with your skin's file. You must also include a comment in the descrption whose art it is, and that permission.txt is included.

I was browsing a web site for some walls. While on the site, I noticed a section for Visual Styles. I became concerned when I saw the above wba not only listed there, but the download link is on their site! ortiz...sorry that I hadn't responded sooner. I guess the email stuff is screwed up on here also. As to what to do with the slices when you have them in place: Just go to File > Save for Web. Make sure png 24 is selected on the right side of the window that pops up. Then hit the save button. In that window that pops up, select where you want to save the file, and also select just the pngs from the drop down box. Photoshop will then save the slices

Boy, what you all are doing sounds awfully complicated! What I do, is open my whole start panel in Photoshop. Select the slice tool. (Make sure the slice guides are visible.) Right click on the single slice that should encompass the whole start panel, select edit slice from the right click menu. For the user pane, make sure it is the entire width of your panel, then make the height whatever you want....I usually make mine around 40 pixels tall. Click ok.&

DUH! Never mind....I figured it out! I just went and looked at one of my more recent skins, and saw that I just needed to do the following: FontName=Arial, FontSize=1. And I just deleted the font weight thingy![e digicons]O:)[/e]
I am updating an old blind of mine, and didn't realize how old it was until after I got it almost all done in SKS 6. The blind was made in SKS 5 over 3 years ago. I didn't realize that the please wait screen used text from SKS settings, until I decided to change the image. My question is how do I get rid of the text in SKS 6? Specifically the settings for the font? The font I want to change to is arial, 1 pt. In the code editor, I know where to put the font

I always start with the start menu first....I consider it the cornerstone of the blind. Then the taskbar, taskbar and start menu buttons.... Then on to the menus and their buttons.... Then the window frames and buttons..... The rest I just do how the mood affects me, except I always to the toolbar icons and animations last....hate doing those!
