Still having problems. On my personal site, the comments section on the profile page disappeared. And I am not able to access my Skins page (not the gallery). Site wide, I cannot access the Newest Skins page from the home page. And, more times than not, I can't access any other pages from the home page, except for the forums....that is, if I can even get on the set, which has been real dicey today. Is maintenance still going on? :NOTSURE:

It happened to me too....thought it was something on my end. My last blind isn't showing up on my personal site gallery or profile page, but is listed on my skins page. And none of the stats have updated in over a week. It's good to know that I didn't do something to muck it up!

Mirsguy, I stand corrected. The mouseover IS the toolbar button.....sorry about that. I spent hours yesterday trying to fix the thing. I cannot find a fix for it at all. I guess we will just have to live with it. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]

Mirsguy, the menu is the start menu pop-up menu, and the mouseover is the start menu item. I deduced that by mucking with colors, to figure out what was being used. vStyler....that sucks! I don't remember that menu being mucked up with my Scapolite or Daybreak menus..both of those were done in SKS 6.3. This blind is being done in SKS 6.4. So maybe it is a bug with the new version....maybe when they added the mouseover for the programs panel, it changed somethin

Views menu issues-Vista in Skinning WinCustomize Forums

I ran into a problem with the views menu on the blind I am working on right now. I think it uses the start menu pop up menu and the start menu item. For some reason, I can't get the text (content) margins to align right. The right side of the mouseover is clipped off. Does anyone have any clue on how to fix this? I have not had any problems with the start menu. Like I said earlier, I make the xp version first on my other machine, install it on the Vista machine, etc. Then I open the Vista version....in the start panel, I go to the extras tab, and set my margins for Vista there: the top and bottom bar I make the same as for XP. The left panels, I make them 230 px wide (my XP version is 190). I make the right panel 150 px wide (my XP version is 190). Works for me ev

Kitty, I may be wrong, but I think you have to make your substyles right away when you start. What I do is make my XP blind first on my XP machine, install it on my Vista machine, then open the XP version in SKS 6, and immediately make it the substyle, and Vista the default. Maybe you have to do the same thing when you start with a new skin from scratch. Add your XP substyle right away, even though you haven't made it yet.....and be sure to make Vista the default.</p

The mouseover image for the All Programs panel ONLY works in Vista. So, you are still stuck with the old mouseover color on XP.

The right side still comes up with the mouseover color of the All Programs pane....I even reset that color the normal color...the all programs panel changed color, but the right side panel did not. I then tried changing it through the code editor, and that didn't work either.....HELP!
