What does "My Colors" do that other elements of Object desktop doesnt do, i have'nt tried it yet , but it seems to me its more of the same and more to keep up with ie, change wallpapers in Deskscapes, change wallpapers in Windowblinds, change wallpapers in windows.. help me understand it all!

Neil, To your suggestion concerning DPI , I did have a custom DPI setup, so i set it back to normal, rebooted and there was a small improvement. Here is a clue someone can look into, i can select all but the last 4 effects, some of the others i can select, if i click in multiple areas within the same selection box, i can get it to advance or move back 1 effect (was finally able to get to "snow" with this method, seems to me, its a bad coding job on the menu ie: more selections available than

Yes, i uninstalled trial version, then ran ccleaner, rebooted, downloaded Impulse, purchased Deskscapes, installed it, exact same problem. I like the program, so i would have purchased it regardless of any minor bugs. I'll live with it til there is a fix. thanks for your help![e digicons]:thumbsup:[/e]

Effects selections mismatched with actual selections in Animated Wallpapers WinCustomize Forums

Im using the free version of deskscapes and will upgrade to ver 3 as soon as i figure out what works and doesnt, When i select a particular effect, the selection i apply is not the one i get. It looks to be that its about 4 choices away, ..ie ( i select snow and get sepia or i select motion blur and get invert. Anyone else seeing this? as a result, the last 4 or so selections are unavailable to me since i cant advance selections 4 times past last entry. any help or ideas appreciated</

Hi, i have a question about downloads for windowblinds, i recently dl'ed GT3 by Tiggs (great skin) my question is , in the download zip folder there is an additional folder called "userpics" ..does the wba install utilize this folder during install or do i need to drop the folder somewhere..it doesnt seem to install any of its contents , and has no documentation telling me where it goes, I did a search on my system for a few of the files withing the extra folder and it didnt find anyt

Hmm...Why not ask Wincustomize to put new skins that are posted by all contributors into a directory called say "Beta"...even if its an already proven performer, it atleast lets people know the skin has been worked on (over) and is now soon to be released in the galleries..(save give a 5 day quarentine in the beta directory...then folks can read reviews and decide wh
