Well, one week down, at least. Some time this week I'll blog about what my immediate motivation and goals are, maybe. Good luck with your efforts. It's always encouraging seeing someone wanting to make positive changes in their lives.

Again, no direct counts, for this is a weekend. But, I'm being honest with everything else: Vitamin water, 3 eggs, 2 slices bacon Brocolli and cheese, Lean Cuisine 15 20lb biceps curls Triscuits and Cheese 2sets of 10 crunches (wow, that's pathetic) Vitamin water Brocolli and cheese, 4 fish fillets Apple Triscuits an

Yeah, she's adorable. I have problems with the stay-up-late-get-up-late bit, too. I'm worse when the kids are around, I think. When they were here for spring break, the little one would wake up just after seven... and then get in bed with me until I got up. heh. Their Mom called to see if I had kept them up late that week or whether they were sick... that Monday they crashed out after school and wouldn't get up for dinner, they wer

The particular vitamin water I use is the Gatorade Propel "Fitness Water." For a 1/2 Liter bottle, it's 25 calories, 25% Vitamin C, 20% Vitamin E, 50% Niacin, 50% Vitamin B6, 10% Vitamin B12 and 50% Pantothenic Acid. (Pantothenic Acid?) The taste is pretty good, although sometimes the aftertaste does seem to coat my mouth. I prefer the lemon flavor. My sons actually love the stuff, too, so you know it can't be that bad, right? Hard to please a 4

No exact counts today. I've decided that I'll try to be generally good on the weekends, but not too good. However, in the interest of disclosure: Vitamin water when I woke up. 3 eggs + salsa for breakfast. Protein bar for morning snack. Lunch was the last of the shrimp, tomatoes and feta. This stuff doesn't hold up this long, all th

Could it be that proportion is as important as consistency when it comes to corporeal punishment? Well, certainly the punishment should fit the crime. If that's what you're talking about I'm in complete agreement.

Yeah and he's going to star in a new TV drama call Drive, it looks interesting! Actually, you're probably thinking of Nathan Fillion, who played Captain Malcolm Reynolds in Firefly/Serenity. He's the one who's going to star in Drive. (Hey, Fillion also did voice work for the Justice League cartoon. Neat.) Fillion has also appeared on Buffy in 5 episodes in 2003. Joss Whedon is the writer/producer for Buffy, Angel, Firely and the Firefly movi

And how you didn't follow them! Oh, I followed the ones on how to make a sandwich: the ones that tell you put the thing on the bread, put the other stuff on top of it, then put that other slice of bread on top of that . You know, you wouldn't want to forget that second slice of bread in the ins

Oh, crap! And we were only required to read excerpts from the Canterbury Tales my senior year. While the subject matter seemed familiar enough to me (I was a D&D geek), the writing style is a little off-putting, no? I certainly wouldn't go back and try and read it now.

Alright, at first I was wondering why you were up so late, but then I remembered the time difference. Dude, are you just absolutely bored out of your mind, though? We used to have rabbits. I was supposed to be working on my "Rabbit Raising" merit badge (no lie) but I was too lazy/irresponsible to do the paperwork and, eventually, to properly care for the rabbits. Plus, the hutch that my uncle built wasn't entirely to specs so we wou

I'm up to get the cereal ready for them (yes, I know, not a nutritious breakfast, but we do the best we can). While there is more sugar in those than you need, most of 'em are vitamin fortified at least and the milk has good stuff, too. It's still way better to feed them cereal than to send them to sch

I saw this episode when it first aired so I'll be skipping these videos as well. But I will say that I thoroughly enjoyed seeing it the first time. I also generally enjoy Joss Whedon's work. I think Firefly was awesome; it's the one TV show that I have on DVD. Whedon has also done some work in comics, most notably Astonishing X-Men . Heck, he's the one responsible for bringing Colossus back from the dead. I know a lot of X-f

I have a gas grill that I "inherited" in a somewhat convoluted way... On a side note, it is apparently Canadian, which substituted, for a while amongst my friends, for the common derogatory "gay." As in, "That's so gay," which could also be, "That's so stupid," or more correctly, "I don't like that but don't want to try to come up with a rational reason to dislike i

I wish I had your dedication. 1. Let's see how long I keep this up, first. 2. You're awesome. 3. I've said this one before: Your husband is a very lucky guy. 4. You're already spreading a lot of your dedication and effort

So, I've been clipping recipes when I can find them, wanting to stretch my range of preparing food. Most of what I eat is frozen->nuke->eat, so occasionally I like something with a little more effort. The double-edge of that sword is that it then, by definition, requires more effort. I sit typing this with two sinks full of dishes right now... I cut this

(also agree about Motrin being the Army's answer to everything). Vitamin M. Ranger candy. "Take two of these and RTD." (Return To Duty) My ex had our first in bed with her, laying on her belly. She heard a noise and awoke with a start... sending him flying onto the floor. Thankfully, he's none the worse for wear.
