Been awhile since I've posted one of these, but I'm almost caught up on these. I'm actually going to take the first unit test tomorrow, to ensure that I have 25% of the classwork done before the end date (18JUN04) so I can get my incomplete, and the extra 120 days to finish the coursework. Here's Chapter 3, The Constitution: Limiting Governmental Po

FWIW, my wife will be celbrating her 29th birthday this year. Again.
Ah, good. You're back to only marginally on topic comments. (Love ya, tho, Arq.) Hey, there's one of these in San Fransisco, right? Or maybe it was DC... I remember walking past the sign on the way to a club, at any rate, and thought to myself, "What's a Chris Steak?"
Not that I've had problems putting on weight... Many of the guys I've known who've wanted to buff up load up on the protein. Load UP . Having some protein right after working out might help. Upping your caloric intake to 1.5x or 2x normal, but keeping all the healthy proportions of foods (ie - still less Mickey D's than anything else). But it might all be for naught if your metabolism is working against you. Good luck.</font
I really need to read Gibran, and have no excuse for not doing so before now. Just need to get ahold of the Arabic text... Thanks for posting this.
Lass - thanks for the comment, and glad to see you found your password. No need to give Greywar extra posts by masquerading as him. Besides, his clothes are too baggy on you... Interesting to see that next April is the sort-of-start-date for this. But you have a good track record for being very right with this info. dharmagrl - The AF is switching to brown or gray boots with the blue tiger stripes? Eww! Call the fashion SPs. I've seen t
As far as JU/overcrowding goes, there was an interesting article about ants awhile back... but it has to be more than that, I think, more than just giving a "good score" to sites that many people visit. The easiest way to establish your own blog country on this giant blog continent is to utilize your "favorites" tab on the side. So, you just visit the sites you know you enjoy reading. You can still scan through the "new articles" tab, the "newest
I hope the rest of your birthday is pleasant, and the morons don't intrude too heavily upon it.
I read briefly about the alternate rank insignia in the Air Force, but never saw it in person. We do have something similar for our flight crews in the Army; I'm very used to seeing our Warrant Officers around in their flight suits, so it gets a little disconcerting spying a Specialist or PFC in them and almost saluting. These are nowhere near as ugly as the blue tiger-stripes. And there is no immediate indication on when these will
"Hopefully I'll be able to have a social life and an online life!" I think you'll find that this is such an untruth, especially if you continue to pursue more than one game...
Link The BDUs are going out, and the ACUs (Army Combat Uniform) is incoming. Head nod to Smash Link , and thanks for the birthday greetings. Personally... I don't really like it, although that may
While it wouldn't seem so based on how much time I've spent on JU, I've been away from home for about a month-and-a-half now. I returned this past weekend, tho, to some (IMO) well-deserved leave, but I know that it's a working vacation. The American Government class that I've been taking self-paced and online ends this Friday. The instructor has agreed to give
7. Finish All Your Sentences With "In Accordance With The Prophecy." This one sounds very familiar...
Finally, the essay, and a brief promise to try and catch up: Explain the origins and importance of classical liberalism. Distinguish classical liberalism from modern liberalism. Explain how classical liberalism led to capitalism. Classical liberalism is defined as a political philosophy asserting the worth and dignity of human beings to determine their own destinies. It rejects ideas, practices, and institutions that submerge indivi
Just from the description of the interior, it sounds like a place you would have enjoyed. You have refined tastes for someone who enjoys Old Crow... perhaps you've just been living within your means. Nice heading Arquonzo off into an actual comment, btw.
Fair enough, Lass. I kept checking back to see if you had posted another article... I can understand that LiveJournal would be more to your liking, and probably more conducive to your style. Thanks for the comment.
xtine - I commend you on not falling down the slippery slope of degrading (at least some of) your morals. I used to find it very difficult to lie, and sometimes still do, but have realized that it was just lack of practice... just a need to exercise the deciet muscle, so to speak. This of course requires a willingness to do so. I do have qualms about getting things without paying for them, including downloading music and games for "free." I nev
After being disappointed by most if not all of the crossover series that I've had the misfortune to buy for myself (I was a bit young for Crisis and Secret Wars, and have to content myself with rose-tinted memories of reading my older brother's copies), I had already decided to skip this "event." Your review, unfortunately for DC, does little to inspire me to change my mind. I suppose I'll talk to the guys at the shop when I go in on Wednesday, howev
I'm done with my additional training, for now. I'm actually getting some leave when I get back, too. I should be at my home station for quite some time after that, as well, although I can't speak for what sort of shift I'll be working. I'm afraid Wednesday's out, though. I'll have to be cognizant enough on Thursday morning to watch the little ones while their mother is at school.
I suppose *some* of the Dems take him seriously, as there are a number of supporters listed for the bill in the link I gave. However, having said that, I can't speak for the aforementioned Dems records and views, either...
I was wondering if you were referring to the GN from the title... yes, definitely Top Ten list stuff for this book. I think I'll have to add it to my Christmas wish list.
Oh. Okay. No worries, Mason. SR - The best explanation that I've seen for the Democrats putting this bill up (and I have no idea whether Kerry would be involved in this at all ) is that it will scare the average person out of supporting operations overseas. If there is a chance that you, or your college buddy, or your son, or really anyone you know would get yanked off the street, sent through accelerated Infantry training and sent to
The flight leaves out tomorrow morning, and I need to be alert (and not smelling like a distillery) when I meet my SO at the airport. Additionally, we took Cochise out for his birthday last night, and there was much imbibing to be had then. MB had to DD. He's headed out to a club tonight, but I'm here packing. I'm not even touching the Old Crow that was staring at me from the fridge earlier...
Please keep in mind that the pending draft legislation sitting in Congress Link is actually penned by Democrats . Link This gives a little more info on the topic. Really, blaming this solely upon the President, his administration, or the Republicans in general is w
Somehow, I knew this title was you. A developing theme, perhaps. Try to get the ironing done before the alcohol is, even if you have a self-shut-off iron. Better safe than sorry. And... what're you drinking (he says, perhaps ready to necro an old thread)?
