Oh, but that I were a higher ranked user, and had more feedback to give. You know, of course, that I take partial credit for prodding you to blog. And glad I am that I did, too. Try not to verbally fellate Stein in such an obvious fashion next time, plzkthx. I am not looking forward to Thursday...

1. I'd be more concerned with this: Link 2. It may appear fishy, but nothing anywhere that I could find seems to indicate that he may by helping the enemy. The closest would be the DoD not confirming his being taken prisoner, and instead mentioning that he "has been absent from his unit since June 21." <a href="http://english.aljazeera.net/NR/exeres/27

Well, as long as each review doesn't degenerate to: "Hated it! Borrow." or somesuch. If you give relevent points as to why you disliked the book, any review of what's available can be worthwhile. But it would be nice to hear something positive about a current comic.

Poetmom- Perhaps calling him an asshat was so important to the statement, that he wished to include it with the conveyance of the "f-word." Additionally, there may have been the "I am utterly frustrated due to the circumstances already listed" at the end of that list. This sort of emotion tends to push us into economical use of words. We need an Adult Content tag for "asshat" now?

XX - I really don't like water with the Old Crow. greywar can hack it, but he has a stronger stomach than I (and a more abused palate, I think). NickyG - Switching from real Coke to diet isn't the same as from regular coffee to decaffinated. Diet Soda still has caffeine... one of the most useless substances known to man is the Caffeine Free Diet Coke. Stupid Gold Can. Additionally, is there an alcohol content difference between "normal

I, for one, can't wait to see this film. Sounds like it would be a great centerpiece for a theme movie night (right up there with my "Bad Werewolf Film" night, eh, grey?). Hopefully, I can avoid signing the register the first time, so they'll make me watch it again. During mission. While sleep deprived and hopped up on Bacchus X. Woo.

A quick note to say, "Yay, I broke the top 100." Woo. I've planned on writing something about the rating/ranking system on the site, but haven't spent the time sitting down, researching all the particulars, gathering anecdotal evidence, comparing rankings, putting my thoughts on "paper"... Perhaps soon. I feel pretty good about it, though, as I haven't don

As (I think) I said, I look forward to reading some comic reviews from you. As far as HTML editors, I don't use one, I just type in direct. But I don't have a lot of fancy bells and whistles in my posts, either. greywar Link had some problems with the editor in the past Link . I think there were some articles by the head guy <a href="http:/

Wow. As all but one of your books is labeled "Borrow it" (and the other is labeled "Burn it"), I hope you do all your comic reading from a friend's collection. I don't read any of these books, but I've found myself having difficulty in cutting my buy-list down to size in the past. Are you experiencing similar problems? Titles that you've previously enjoyed, went downhill since then, but you still can't bring yourself to *not* get them... maybe t

It can be even worse/harder trying to get someone over from a less developed country. A co-worker met a Malaysian (I think) woman while stationed in Korea, and is having endless difficulties in getting her over here. He has already married her, but they keep re-routing her visa request. He has discovered entire new agencies none of us had heard of prior to these events. Once his terms of service are up, if she still can't come here, I believe he is

I'll chime in on the ones that I have an opinion on, at least... mostly comic related shows (and I'll stick to the order you mentioned them in, for simplicity). 1. Justice League - I'm unsure of what Justice League cartoon you're referring to here. Super Friends? (Probably not, as you mention that show in the next sentence.) The Super Powers Team? (That was just a continuation of the Super Friends cartoon, apparently.) Anyway, to addr

Well, even had I been timely, I wouldn't've guessed. I haven't been to work in a couple months. Not very military minded, lately. (Should've picked up a copy of the Army Times today when I got my haircut.) Congrats to all involved, however! Even the mercenary.

Honestly, his "joke" was so bad, I thought he might've been sock-puppetting for you , but maybe he's just incredibly drunk. I had heard that "Timmy" (most prefer "Corky," but you have a good ally in the Timmy camp: Guy is a member) was in a unit out there, but hadn't realized it was yours. Has he seen you yet?

Well, I noticed you said "drinking beer," and there was the whole Chris's Ruth House Steak incident... I kind of sort of clued in on it. You're back at work and everything's "normal?"

Indeed, I would think he knows how to fillet a fish, or prepare any sort of dead beast for consumption. Very much a meat-and-meat sort of guy (screw the potatoes, at least for now, eh Atkins?).
