And the irony of harping on others' spelling smacks grey in the face.

C'mon, grey... I knew this. You're slipping.
dharma - Grey and I had kinda talked about this some when we were in Cali Link ... I don't know if he came to the same conclusion as I, but I'm pretty much "no face" for pictures to post. I had him take a shot of me with my favorite cheap wine in CA, but he takes a terrible picture drunk... And I'd have to chop it to remove the face, anyway. Good luck getting him to comply, though.
Well, I'm proud of the guy. I hope that his "brave face" stays on for a good long while. (And to think, I didn't like him when he got here. I was wrong.)
No, I am Spartacus! I still believe the theory that "special pop" only came in PTs the first day b/c Spadde (and other responsible parties) didn't call anyone to tell them otherwise. And then today, it was to cover for his mistake. But it's good to do PT, right? Even if I feel like I'm dying all over? (Awesome pic, btw.)
But but but... Your Rank is not your own!
But you would only have a disqual round if the "NOTA" got a plurality. What if, say, they Republican got the plurality, but no one got the majority? Run-off? I'm sorry I assumed an outcome, but I was trying to extrapolate from given data... There would still be some time needed after a disqual round to find new candidates (and probably to campaign them). Do we just keep the old president until the new election is finally final? Ooh, evil th
You people have made me grateful that I can't get to a TV at noon everyday. (Haven't watched days since... I guess around the time trina_p did. Don't think it was 6 years ago, tho. Wait. I watched it some while I was on nights 1 1/2 years ago? So, the evil twins were there, and then they found out they were Marlena's, right?)
Trina - Fair point about the Riddler. I think Jamie is ruling out quite a few superhero movie villains' survival other than that: Magneto, Mystique, Sabertooth, Bullseye, Kingpin... Jamie does get some props for remembering Man-Wolf (damn, I had to look up the name). Man-Wolf did appear in a recent story-arc in Spider-Girl, however. They might use Jack as "muscle" for a more "thinking" villain...
Well, I tried. Let's see... try to get this on topic... Dating Lesbians... Wrestling...? Nah.
BTW: You have exceeded the maximum daily ratings that your access level allows. Received this message from trying to give Estrogen Lass an Insightful on a comment. I hadn't tried to give her one before, today at least. It seems your perception of this system is incorrect. But this is a great article!
Insightful! ++. It's just that I couldn't find anything to add to that other article.
Thanks for the info cactoblasta. I think it's odd that they let you show, and still not vote... but it accounts for the couple-of-percentage points in the chart better than just assuming that many people chose to pay the fine. Grey - What happens when we don't elect a President in that system, then? Have another election immediately? The parties would have to reorganize, wouldn't they? Don't you think that would just start a huge chain of
Saw this linked on Usenet (rec.arts.comics.marvel.universe), and wanted to share, as it is pretty kick ass. And, hey, no adult content, so if you can watch movies at work, then it's work safe! Yay. (Seems to require Quicktime, as well... I hate to ask so much of my viewers, but I think it's worth it.) <a href="http://playlist.yahoo.c
Bah. When CRZ stopped writing, rasslin' became less fun.
You mispelled "Hokies."
tags ..... words ..... The blah blah blah part actually shows up in a lot of his articles regardless of HTML issues.
CS Guy - Either I'm living with my head in the sand (quite possible), or you haven't been introduced to the same caliber of "slack-jawed booger-eaters" that I have. (Look, a grey-ism.)
Curious about the phone call w/ SFC Spadde, but that's a bit off topic. Thanks for sharing that mildily disturbing look into your psyche, friend. I knew a bit about the last part, but none of that first. You're an even more interesting character than I had suspected.
Grey - does that pay better or worse than sanitation engineer at the agency?
I thought it was 6500... whichever. So far, the IRR callup is targeting specific understrength specialties. I suppose stoploss and reup bonuses haven't been effective enough. I'm still not okay with the term "backdoor draft," but that might be the double entendre as much as the inaccuracy of the term. Glad to see a Great Old One on the site, tho. ftaghn. I mean, fnord.
Asshat was always more grey's thing than mine (although I've used it once on here so far: Link ). You'd like that link, btw.
And I thought you said you were glad that I got promoted. Yes, I realize that this isn't about me, but it just feeds into my current particular brand of self-loathing. I'll try and come back later to comment on it in its intended form. ("Failed officer," for example, hits close to home. Also, "glad not to be screwed over." (I was more in fear of my wife's wrath than missin
Best. Post. Evar. 5/5. I heartily endorse and/or recommend this product.
I'm curious as to the punishments for not voting in mandatory elections. I realize it may differ between countries, but it would be interesting to hear what they are in any of those places (Muggaz? Any idea what it is in oz?)
