I am a strong believer in Add and AADD. My brother is a bonefide candidate. He had so many problems growing up. It took his doctor wife to get him tested and on the track to being able to control his hyperactivity and fast paced brain. He is not on reitalin, but on somehting else (don't remember what) but I can tell the difference when he forgets his meds. I do, however, think that ADD is over diagnosed or improperly diagnosed. It's simpl

This is an insightful article. I wonder if teenagers would even read it. My father has alsheimers and still drives. I don't know what to do to stop him. My Mom insists it is the only thing he can remember how to do, so she simply tells him where to go and how to get there and sits beside him while he drives. I wont get in the car if he's driving.

We went to church today--it is Sunday, after all--The youth of our congregation conducted the entire service. I was impressed. The young man who sang three solos had a strong tenor voice and sang with such feeling that it made me believe that there is hope for the future of our world. He was probably a high school junior at our arts high school. I think he could h

Thank you for creating this forum. I am going to Greece in May. Does anyone have any suggestions? It is my understanding that most of the museums etc in Athens are closed for renovation for the up coming Olympics. We're going on business, but I hope to see some of the sights. :D

I think it is interesting and about time that woman were given the chance to design a car specific for them. I doubt that it will be a big seller, but there are probably some features in that car tha could be used in a family designed automobile. For instance, I like the idea of having ample storage space up front for the purse, cell phone etc.

I got thorougly confused reading this thread. I agree that Tillman is a role model for everyone, not because he wanted to fight in this war or because he died, but because he gave up so much with no publicity to do something he believed in. That is a role model I want for my students--not the players who rape and kill.

Good Morning, As promised to myself, I am sitting at my computer for a few minutes writing. Hopefully, this will instill a new habit that can restart my writing hobby. I am planning a trip to Houston next week to babysit for my brand new (six week old) grand daughter while her parents study and take their final exams at the University there. I am also excited a

What an interesting discussion. It is nice to read something with insight from obviously educated people. I do not think about heaven or hell any more. I just live my life as it comes. I used to think about it when I was younger, but now it really does not matter. We believe what we have been taught.

Hi there, Patrick Ford. I hope to use this forum as developing my "new" habit of writing for 15 minutes every day. I find, so far that I'm rather lost. THe only thing I have noticed is that it takes a long time for my machine to click from one spot on the site to another. I'm probably impatient.

I am new to blogging. As a matter of fact, I checked out several other blogs for instance livejournaling. com and open diary and was not able to figure out how to use them. So far, this is the easiest. I am attempting to sit myself at my computer every day for 15 minutes to write because I pretend to want to become a proficient writer. I promissed myself for many
