Link doesn't work for me. Just brings me to a login page for Yahoo. Yeah, you're right...Of course, her friends and coworkers (peers) aren't privy to it. But I will have to think on it and perhap remove thoses images.

Just for the record...I would be extremely upset with my mother for posting pictures of me as a child on the internet for all to see.... That said, I can't see the pics!!!!!!

When we purchased our Suburban, it had a "God Bless America" sticker on it. I wanted to take it off for the very reason you blog about, that we would be perceived as hypocrites. On the other hand though, how much more American can you get? It seems the majority is wrapped up in oil and oil issues and how some of us are bad for driving big gas, guzzling vehicles, or how we don't know how to drive said vehicles in bad weather and are thusly

FRIDAY: Friday my daughter had a dance performance to be presented during half-time at the local high school football game. She had to be there at 4 pm for an hour’s practice with the group, then an hour off for supper, then back at 6 to perform. Her birthday was Saturday, which also happened to be Minnesota Pheasant Opener. To boot, my hubby

Man...too much damn soju for me. I don't recall this incident. Although, reading your description, if this were to happen today I would know that the alternator had gone out and there was no use even trying to jump it! Silly non-mechanic types... BUT I do remember Ray and his ability to jumpstart a car, without jumper cables OR speaker wires even. Actually I don't recall if he was successful, I was in too much shock when this bare-chested

Even my daughter knows the call that only the deep cold can make. Yeah she just loves it when I make her put on her snowsuit to take down the garbage....she goes into total teenager mode then, rolling her eyes and groaning. I just can't wait for the real teen years. And yes, she'll still be taking do

It wasn't that long ago. I was standing on the steps of the Minnesota Capitol Building with the State Student Senate organization when Jesse, as governor, totally dissed a single mother (said it was all her fault that she got pregnant and now had to have the state pay for her schooling-even though he had no knowlege whatsoever of her situation). Then he stormed off and stole our bull-horn. I w

DOH! It took me FOREVER to figure this out. I right-clicked and properties to find the original URL so that I could see what the mysterious red X was concealing...nothing there (or so I thought, the red x was there though). I started deleting the ends of the URL path to see if I could get to it a different way. No luck. So just gave up. Then saw that someone commented and thought, "Ah! She must have fixed the broken link...."

his blue station wagon with the 110 electrical cord hanging out of the hood It's an engine block heater! Do you know how many strange looks we got when we were in California for that cord? I think they thought we were on the cutting edge of electrical engine technology. Though at that time we were

This is fantastic! Good job! The only thing I would change: a child should subsist on solely hotdogs and pickles is kind of awkward. How about: "...a child should subsist solely on hotodgs and pickles..."? I know it only switches two words, but to me the sentence f

The boss comes up to me and asks for some Window brochures then follows me into the store-room to watch me fumble through boxes. While there he says, "By the way, don't talk about how nice your chair is when someone who doesn't have as nice a chair can hear you. Unless you want to share." What the Fuck? A year ago, maybe even two, the bos

Going into a lunch meeting with boss for purposes of annual review. Scared out of my mind. Forgot flask of malibu rum at home. Crap!! ***** Update: So it seems that I misunderstood. The purpose of the meeting is to develop annual review procedures company-wide. And here I thought it was all about *me*.

BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! Oh, that's funny... I'm really sorry to say it, but it truly is. At the time I was pretty shook up, but looking back it is funny how all the little things add up. <TABLE cellpadding=8 wi
