Thanks. It helped. A little.

dharma: you've got mail.
Our old grill finally broke and we had to go out and get a new one right away. We went a week without it and I was pretty hungry by the time the hubby brought the new one home. We even grill in the winter-time, in sub-freezing weather and however many inches of snow happens to lay on the ground. To grill a ribeye and
Health insurance for a family of four will be at least $250/mo I wish!! I can't imagine that it would be cheaper in Hawaii than in Minnesota, but for my family it's $417 for three of us, and would be an additional $127 for my other child if she wasn't covered under her biological dad's health insurance
And how would I have known this existed before I made the comment? Such is the nature of joeuser. Most of the commenters also are bloggers.
Liveletlive...please read Gideon's Down & Out series...I fully believe he's doing everything within his power to better his situation. You should have checked it out before you posted that last comment...
very bizarre
It's so cool when you get validation from someone that you're doing a good job. Cause you know you are and it's great to have other people recognize that too.
Go for it! I bet he'll think it's cool that you wanted to try it out too. Taking an interest in his hobbies, etc etc...
I will keep writing and posting And I'll keep reading and commenting (I'll try anwyays!) Keep it up, I love reading your stuff.
There's a balance to be found (as with EVERYTHING in life) between being a nice boss and being a good boss. My boss, for example, is one of those new-age hippy type bosses who is constantly asking his employees for opinions, feelings, and thoughts on his decisions. I'm at the point now where I don't feel like he knows what he's doing, or even cares for that matter. Sometimes, employees just want a decision. I don't care how much work it involves me
Did you give into the killing mood and are thus incarcerated? You haven't blogged in a while...
Thanks Chip. I was pretty happy with the way this narrative turned out. I let my hubby read it last night and he agrees that it's pretty close to the truth. Except he said that I was too kind to myself during the episode when I thought the bat was crawling on me. It was VERY traumatic for me.
I'm in for a routine cleaning in a family dentistry office in small town, Minnesota and while waiting I pick up a newspaper section to pass the time. Jumping out at me was the headline, "The 'Political Machine' rolls merrily along" and of course I had to read it! Here the <a href="http://www.usatoday.com/tech/products/games/2004-09-09-politicalmachine_x.ht
HHAHAHA! Kicked his balls! My little guy has a set of those play balls and we're using them to teach his colors. It's always with a little snicker when his dad asks him to bring him blue balls.
awww! How cute! Let her wait. She'll get bored soon enough. Right?
It's not just you either, seems like lots of regular JU users aren't blogging as much. Must be a busy fall for all!
Air. You think before you act, you look before you leap. You are very direct, which sometimes can hurt others. You are always looking for the truth behind things. Of all the elements, you're the wisest. What is your element? brought to you by Quizilla
The new "innovative" way is to try to present the material in such a way as that the students figure it out in a way that makes sense to them, no necessary the best way for you It's just frustrating because I know how to do it the way I was taught. When she asks me for help and I sit down thinking, "Fi
3:45 am: Pfth pfth pfth pfth pfth pfth… Pfth pfth pfth pfth pfth pfth… “Hun?” “Hunny?!” “Hmm? Wha..?” “I think there’s a bat!” Silence. Then: Pfth pfth pfth pfth pfth pfth… “You’re right!” The blankets and pillows rustled urgently as we buried ourselves into the
Document everything. Even in a non-managerial position one should document everything.
I *get* math...I just don't get how to teach it to my kid. She keeps coming home with these worksheets that show the most bizarre ways to come up with an answer. It seems that I remember my parents grumbling about "New Math" and now here I am uttering the same epithets. Do educators really keep coming up with new ways to do the same old thing or are they just recycling a set of theories every so many generations so that the older ones have no hope o
bed/desk/closet combo has been used faithfully by another K! That's awesome!! I'm so glad. Yeah, K's got feet that are already as big as mine. Poor thing. She lumbers along just like her dad. And she's going to beat me in height. Not yet, but someday, and soon. <img src="../images/smiles/smile
I didn't know that was still legal. It's legal for an individual plan (in Minnesota anyways). Neither of our employers offers group health so we had to get it on our own. I've called and talked to them about it. My husband used to work for a company that
