Oops, took too long. Thanks, ID.

DAZ is offering the $19.95 upgrade if you create a profile (account) in their 'ArtZone', after which they will send you a coupon for the special upgrade price. You can go here to check it out http://artzone.daz3d.com/ For those who have not looked, there should be (note - I am assuming they included this in the free version) a 'Bryce5_Manual' in: "C:\Program Files\DAZ\Bryce5" folder in a PDF file. If you see it there, it should have
Fairyy, I should mention that the 'Titlebar' for Bryce is an "auto-hide" titlebar, which you can display by bumping the top edge of the screen with your cursor (it took me a couple of times to open and close the program using the taskbar button context menu before I accidentally bumped the top of my screen, and there it was; complete with the familiar menus and titlebar buttons). For anyone else on dial-up, it is approximately 23.5 MB download (sorry, I paid about $100 for thi
For those of you who want to play around with the 3D scene rendering program known as "Bryce", it is available for a short time as a free download from Download.com. Use the link below. I recommend this for anyone who wants to see what the 3D rendering softwares are like. It is a very fun program to play around with. Note - there is quite a bit of information and tutorials available for this version at the DAZ site WWW Link DAZ has a
i have the paid for version of wb5 and the Norton 06 virus scan is still black Same problem here. I suspect this is an issue with the way Norton did the progress animation for the scan, but I am no coder.
Thank you, Corky_O, for picking Velvet Shadows 2 as one of the Picks of the Week! No problem, Donna. You earned it.
Don't have the workstation version but no problems with the Home 9.0 version on XP I can second this. I also have experience with version 9 on XP Pro and no issues skinning with WB 5.
This is common and not an issue with IconPackager or the theme. I am not a coder, but I am sure that the developer would have fixed this in the past if it was possible. I do not use the Enhanced Dialog program, but it may allow this to be changed.
There is an old idiom (at least I believe it is considered an 'idiom'): "There is no accounting for taste". Trying to force someone to have a specific viewpoint on a piece of art, a sunset, or an operating system seems a bit silly. We all have to live with and use the system we choose, and we all have the right to use the one(s) that we like. I for one would love to know all the platforms, but I simply do not have the extra money to go around purchasing a bunch of mac
Ramon31, I would suspect that your system is telling WindowBlinds that it has reached it's 60 day limit for some reason. If no one offers other options, I would contact support WWW Link
HeirOfSlytherin in disquise? Or for real? Or something else?
I believe the real issue here is not so much that Dell is a bad manufacturer (in the manufacturing world, they are no better or worse than others), but that there is not enough real information about the use of "Li-ion" based batteries in the first place. For example: 1 - Any use of "Li-ion" based batteries is risky due to the unstable nature of the internal components and how they react during energy generation. 2 - "Li-ion" batteries start losing their efficiency th
If WindowBlinds is still installed, you might try using this utility to unintall it WWW Link Download the utility to your desktop > double-click the file to start > use the "Unload" tab to unload WindowBlinds if listed > use the "Uninstall" tab to select and remove WindowBlinds. Note - copy any skin folders you want to save from "C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\WindowBlinds" folder to a temporary folder befo
Well deserved, .ZerO
Smurfslayerx, Please post links to the themes in question, and post the text from the "System Information" link in WB configuration panel (lower left side of panel). Note - this assumes you are referring to WindowBlinds 5.
Here are the various RAM sticks available on NewEgg.com WWW Link I use Kingston memory, but there are others as well - Crucial, Patriot, Viking, etc. Note - your machine can handle up to 2 GB, so purchasing (2) 1 GB sticks will maximize your memory in the
Outside of using the "Right-click desktop > Arrange icons by > deselect Show Desktop Icons", I do not know of any native keyboard shortcuts to display/hide the desktop icons. There are various third party programs that might have this function built in, or you might be able to write a script that would use a key to toggle the icons. Sorry, I am not a coder, so do not know what script would be adequate. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Tongue.gif" border=0 ALIGN="
WB5 has more bugs then ive ever seen so be careful. You should get out more often.
So ur saying that NOBODY at least TRIED to get just the "windowblinds skin" alone of this suite People have asked, and the answer is that it only comes with the machine. Distribution without consent from both TSF and Alienware (now owned by Dell) is strictly forbidden. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Wink.gif" border=0 ALI
Have a good one, Po!
Ok, here is the same wall, a dock, and no Start Button.
What about OB ? Brad has indicated that OB 2.0 will be released shortly. Before anyone says "we have heard that before", I know. Here is the article bit: WWW Link
As a side note, I would like to request/suggest that new Premium Suites also include a wallpaper for widescreen users. The Logika wall looks terrible at 1440x900 and I would imagine worse at higher widescreen resolutions. This would be a nice touch.
The link does not work for me. If I understand your question, you are looking for ways to upgrade your laptop. If so, the RAM should be an easy upgrade. The motherboard will determine how much and what speed of RAM you can use to increase the system performance. The hard drive may also be a candidate for upgrade, depending on the which model HP, or more importantly how old it is. Newer laptop's have easy access to the hard drive and you can usually order a larger drive
