I'm thinking a system restore to a point previous to installing WindowBlinds, or just after installing it. If this is possible, see if it corrects the issue. If not, you can undo the restore change. I would say that you may be looking at a registry entry, spyware, or a program setting that is creating the problem if a system restore is successful and does not fix the problem. Okay, Look in the registry (Start > Run > type: regedit > press "Enter") and in the left-hand pane, expand the folders (keys) to the following: "HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies" Expand the "Policies" folder (key) and see if there is a "System" folder (key). The one problem that I saw with StyleXP, was that some of the pallete controls (most notably Photoshop 7) were not aligned correctly in the default skins that came with the program. I do like the windows theme engine, and would use StyleXP if the program installer would have backed up the original files and restored them upon uninstalling the program. Are there any "Unknown devices" showing? - sorry if you already answered via the "red X's" answer. If not, boot into BIOS settings (by hitting the appropriate key to "Enter Set-up" during boot) and see if the BIOS recognizes any video and or audio devices. Also, what is the manufacturer and model of your computer, and is it 'stock', or have you installed any additional hardware.

StealthOS is the closest to a fully compatible skin that I have used. The fact that WB has changed over the past two years (sometimes in big ways, and sometimes in small ways) does not seem to affect this skin from performing on a consistent basis. That type of message usually means that another program is set in the registry to use that address. Since you are referring to 'webblinds' (the toolbar skinning part of WindowBlinds), I would suspect that there may be a add-on for Internet Explorer and/or Windows Explorer using that address. Your best bet would be to reinstall WindowBlinds (unload WB > save skin folders to a temp folder > uninstall WB > reboot > reinstall WB with no other programs loaded except your firewall a
