The very best to you GM

np...glad I could help. I don't know what could be the problem with Messenger, I don't use it. Maybe tech support can sort it out for you. I think that MSN Messenger is loading ahead of TrayServer. I have a new Dell computer and I had a lot of trouble with MSN Messenger coming up whenever I accessed Outlook Express. Even after disabling it, it appeared in the system tray with a red x on it. I finally did a search & destroy in the registry to get rid of it, but I don't remember n
Be sure the 1A: is before the name 1A: Stardock TrayMonitor I think that is what makes it load before your other startup items so it can pick up all the icons.
Sorry...HKLM is abreviation for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE. Hope you get it working OK.
HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run 1A:Stardock TrayMonitor Reg Value is the path to the file.
Not only a great skinner (I really appreciate his attention to detail) but a really nice guy.
Mmmm....I have been guilty of giving a 10 to a skin I thought was rated too low. Sorry.
Sounds like my kind of doctor!
I sure hope that is right. It's been a long time. And, c242, I thought of you when I found the Universe Metal skin for MMJB on Deviant Art. I know you wanted that one, but I guess you have moved on to another player now. >
Access to Tweak Your Feel seems to be broken in SkinStudio, but the program is accessible by going to the SkinStudio directory and double clicking TweakWB.exe You can put a shortcut to it on the start menu. To me, this is a lot easier than adjusting the code on each Windowblind.
I can hardly wait for the Nautilus update!
Another issue with trying to answer questions on this board, is lack of feedback from citizens. A number of times I have gone to considerable lengths to research for answers to problems with Objectbar or SkinStudio. After I post a response with whatever suggestions I can come up with, quite frequently the thread just slides away. That leaves me wondering. Did it work? Did they ever read the answer? >
I second feline's suggestion. I have learned a lot about a number of different things on this board, and it would be nice to be able to search for (i.e.) "Mac icons" to find an old thread.
My husband and I met at church. He was recovering from losing his first wife from cancer and I was recovering from a messy divorce. Pain shared is pain dissipated. We celebrated our 20th anniversary last March.
You need to DISABLE Windowblinds and re-boot. It is never a good idea to try to update or uninstall a program that is running.
Last I read, it was not...When this happened to me last October, I could not log back in until I "Deleted" the Cache File Directories. Just telling IE to delete the files didn't do it, because it did not delete the hidden files. I suppose that somehow there were Wincustomize cookies in the hundreds of "hidden files" and deleting the directories was the only way I could get rid of them.
If you use notepad to edit instead of SkinStudio, add the line "UseRegions=1" to the General Section. In SkinStudio, it shows as "Irregular shapes=Enabled".
On the start menu, you need the setting "Irregular Shapes=Enabled" in the "General" section to show transparency and oddly enough, frequently you have to turn off the transparency settings.."Use Transparency=0" for the graphic. Hope this helps.
I wouldn't be surprised. For years I have been dealing with people that think if they have blank checks there must be money in the bank.
kat be-Extract the zip to your iconpackager theme folder. The icons are in the .icl file. Just double click the .iptheme and apply.
And Winboost is distributing Iconpackager 2.0. I don't know if it's the shareware or registered version.
Winboost even swiped my JWood icons...Amazing. I never dreamed anyone would ever take the stuff I post.
My best guess is that the 8x is unable to feed the data fast enough for the higher speed drive.
My ex was a stock car racer and I did all the parts researching, buying, pit crew management and helped with the maintenance of the car. There were nights when the engine blew on Friday and we stayed up all night rebuilding or replacing the engine to be able to run on Saturday nite. I have never built an engine by my self, but I helped with enough of them that I feel I could do it. Don't like that black grease under the fingernails, tho. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/smi
