Well, the difference is, there is not a continual parade of people on this board that can't install walls...

Sorry, I missed your comment about "not cluttering your upload list"
Have you thought about uploading the resolutions separately? That way, it wouldn't have to be "double bagged" and would eliminate a lot of confusion for the "newbies"...Most people would only require one resolution, wouldn't they?
It may vary by operating system, but on Win2k when you go to the page you select your skin from, there is a drop down box labeled "Sub-Design" Click on the arrow and choose which version you wish to run.
I liked the pepone_black so much, I made an objectbar to match it. (of course I did ) My husband (non-geek) uses my computer and the start has to be in the lower left corner. I can do anything else to the desktop, but the start button has to stay......
I like Pepone_Black...Those fans running on the desktop are really neat. Oh, no...I just did a search and he must have removed it.
Blondie...If you downloaded pjp's update the Thredz, there is an animated version included in the theme.
I meant older versions of Windows. Need more coffee.
It is my understanding from what Brad said in the news groups that the first release of WB4 this month will be for XP only. Then there should be a release next fall for older versions of Windowblinds.
I have carefully read this thread from the day that it started. I regret that there is no solution for the "old" skins that were made by people that are no longer around...Does anybody remember AF Legend, Phoenix, Goldframe or Nautilus? (just to name a few) Before so many Windowblinds skins became "XP" in assorted colors, there were a lot of really good skins. I have kept some of them and updated them as Windows progressed, and made matching Objectbars <img src="http://images.stardock.com/im
Glad you are back...And please don't scare us like that again!
The file sizes are awfully small...Wonder if it is a rip of Windowblinds 1.? I downloaded one, but couldn't open it. (.skn format)
So glad to hear this...
I will be watching the board tomorrow for the good news about Mike's sucessful surgery. And take care of yourself, Christine. God Bless Elaine
Safardana & XP Fashion probably do not include an Objectbar in the theme. After loading Objectbar, you may need to re-boot because Trayserver needs to load before the tsr's in order to display the icons.
If you load any standard "XP" type Objectbar, and right click, properties it will bring up the Theme Editor. Look on the Start Panel-Left / Most Frequently Used Programs section. Change the title to "Programs". Go to the "Behavior" tab and tick List Contents of Special Folder. Choose Programs from the drop-down menu. On the arrangement tab choose whether you want the whole menu to show or show as many items as will fit. Save it. Then open the WinXP StartPanel Left.obbar from that theme and
So sad Sure hope everything goes well. Let me know if there is anything I can do. Love, Elaine
Couldn't you make that "blank section" of Objectbar transparent so Rainlendar would always show?
BoXXi...Have you heard anything about Fuzzy?
Me, too.
Mine is 1137, but I can't access "My Skins" today. Maybe I've been deleted.
I meant right-click on the Temporary Internet Files folders and choose properties to see if there are hidden files there.
