SDC gives you the option to designate what directories you want to use. Just tell it where you want it before downloading. I never put this stuff on the C: drive. I have a nice 32 gig partition (E:) that all my art stuff goes in.

Check to see if you have the font installed that the skin requires.
Does anybody know if KG is home from the hospital yet?
Wishing KarmaGirl the very best and a speedy recovery.
You need to download the ObjectBar program from here... https://www.stardock.com/products/objectbar After installing, just double-click on the .obpack and it will install.
Must be up north. It doesn't get that cold in Texas.
Thanks pj. That info was helpful. I hate it that someone is sending viruses that appear to be from me, but there is nothing I can do. And, Dr. Doog, I really didn't need to know that.
Well, I set the virus checker go through all files and it didn't find anything and no program can access the internet from my computer without permission due to the security settings on my firewall.
I got a really strange "returned mail" a while ago. (See Below) It was returned to [email protected] (My addy, but I didn't send it) I think jtfolden is a skinner, but I have never had any contact with him and he was not in my address list. I have run 2 virus checkers and cannot find anything. I also run a firewall. I deleted everybody from my address book after the inquiry from Starone, just in case. And who is "cs666857-166.austin.rr.com [66.68.57.166]"? The original me
I don't think there is a "minimum requirement" but you will probably get some complaints if there isn't something for each of the basic icons. I think it comes out to over 90 icons for a full set. Mormegil includes a lot of extras for various file types, but most sets only have the standards. But, I would be glad to have whatever you want to release. (I know how tedious it is!!)
My life is far too dull to have a blog. But I do read one regularly that is done by a guy in Baghdad. Really interesting. If I wrote my opinions about doctors, hospitals, medical insurance, the FDA, etc., somebody would probably sue me.
The is no such thing as "enough icons" Your desktop looks great. I will be looking forward to the release of the Windowblinds and the Icons!
I have been using MMJB for a long time now and have never experienced any slowdown with it. Of course, I only have about 1.75 gigs of mp3s. When I put my collection on my new computer MMJB imported the library in a matter of seconds. But maybe the 3.06 P4 with hyperthreading turned on helped with that.
Did you try posting a comment on his skin asking him to contact you? I think most people check for new comments on their skins pretty regularly. [Message Edited]
Did you download and install the latest chipset drivers for your motherboard after you installed Windows on the new hard drive?
I run 1280 x 1024 on my 21" Dell Trinitron. Standard fonts are just right for me at that resolution.

Tech Cat...Do a search on the message board for "aafuss" If you read all his posts, it will give you a fresh perspective on this.
Kona, I think the problem is not what you say, but how you say it. You state your opinions as "Fact"....If you would just start your sentences with "In my opinion" or "It is my understanding" you would not get such a negative reaction to your posts.
Ahhhhh....Ferix. Hope the problem gets sorted out soon!
I tested this and WB4 skin viewer did delete the directory for me. I don't know why it didn't work for you. But if all else fails, deleting the directory in WinExplorer will certainly get rid of it. (Be sure you don't try to delete the skin that is loaded!)
The new version of SkinStudio will import StyleXP themes and save them in Windowblinds format. Some tweaking is required, depending on how picky you are
