I think it will link to the featured skin each day. I don't see it at all on my computer. Maybe it's an "XP thang". I'm on Win2k.

Well, the question is, why doesn't the system do it? It's most strange. Maybe one of the "real geeks" at this site will come along and offer some help on this. And, you are welcome. After all, what are neighbors for if not to help. (I'm not far down the road from you)
Don't know. I checked what happens in the registry (with Regmon.exe)when changing between stretch and tile and it looks like rundll32 goes to HKCU/Control Panel/Desktop and does the following: To stretch: TileWallpaper=0 WallpaperStyle=2 To tile: TileWallpaper=1 WallpaperStyle=0 to center: TileWallpaper=0 WallpaperStyle=0 Don't know if this will help or not, but I tried. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/not
1137 I was here the day WC went online, but I hung around for a while before signing up. Giving my e-mail address to a website is not something I take lightly.
Having a magnificent 400 megahertz of computing power, a 56k modem that usually connects at 26,400, and an internet service that kicks me off line if somebody they like better signs on, I sit very quietly and hope.
I have Win2k with sp3, and all three settings are there on my computer. I did a search in the registry, but all I could find was several CLSID settings referring to "stretch", but I don't think they were the right ones. Couldn't even tell what program they were with. (maybe PSP)
I bought the WC Browser yesterday, and I have a problem with the Discussion screen. Clicking on a thread, it always starts at the top of the thread and I have to scroll down looking for the last post that I had already read. Is there a setting somewhere to control this behavior? I'm finding it a real PITA. Oh well, I bought it to support the site, so I guess it doesn't matter that much, I can always access the message board thru the Web Browser and it opens to the last post I read.
I think that particular Objectbar puts the bar on the side of the screen instead of at the bottom. Not sure how it handles system tray, there may be a setting to show/not show it.
Can you give me a link to the icons?

Well, I am so spoiled. I work part time at an office that has a fiber-optic internet connection. At work, I can download a 100mb file in just a few minutes. Then when I get online at home, it is just painful.
Mac Icons, probably, you need stuffit to expand. I could not get to the icons, my connection is too slow to get past the Flash.
O.K., check again. It worked this time. I'm whizing along at 28,800 today, maybe that helped.
I change my desktop on a (almost)daily basis. Today it's Gillion's Neutrale, with a custom ObjectBar, of course. I have tried a couple of times to upload a deskshot, and it times out. It's a painful process at 26,400
Looks nice, Werewolf. What I can see of it, anyway.
I hope you didn't lose anything in the crash. Glad you are back.
I wonder how hard it would be for the Desktop image to be clickable, and show the full size image? I guess it's my obsession with detail, but I would like to see the the full size image, and clicking always produces a "page not found" message for me.
When the blind leads the blind, they all fall in the ditch.
I like the coding. It is an interesting challenge to figure out what the settings do. Maybe the fact that I am an accountant has something to to with this. (patience) But not having much artistic ability, I have a hard time getting what's in my head to show up on the desktop. What I really need to do is learn more about my paint program. I think I probably do everything the hard way. I was shocked to read in another thread, a critisism of skinners for using filters. I made a ment
It worked for me. But all of this is way above my pay grade.
I spent an entire week trying to get WC to set a cookie on my computer. I tried all your suggestions, and nothing worked. I discovered that the cookies that show in the Cache folders are really located in the Cookies folder. If you copy a cookie to the cache, it is hidden, and apparently unusable. (I had 217 hidden files in the cache) I tried to access cache files using console but I couldn't get past Content.IE5. I even deleted the cache files completely, no joy. I knew the problem was my co

Please tell me how you cleared the ones in hidden folders.
Yes, I've changed colors, etc. and downloaded the sdk, but haven't been brave enough to try actually making a skin. But the Windowblinds skin that I made had about 90 bitmaps. I was sure sick of it by the time I finished it.
