Jumbles used to make great skins for MMJB, but when version 6 broke all her skins, I think she just quit. I have thought about trying to upgrade them for v. 7, but everybody says MMJB is really hard to skin.

Also, sometimes the problem is that different versions of Windows have system commands in different places, and there can be other issues that only show up on certain flavors of Windows. The author does not always have all versions to check it on.

One way is to right click the Objectbar Icon on your system tray and choose Load/ThemeBrowser. Scroll down the list till you come to WindowsXP *Use Windowblinds Skin*, and click on it. If it doesn't show, open Windows Explorer and drill down to your Object Bar/WindowsXP sub-directory. Double click the file "Use Windowblinds Theme" and it will import the taskbar and menu from WB. There should be a link on the start menu for "Use Windowblinds Theme", but there isn't on my computer.

Well, jebland regrets saying anything. I try hard never to respond to the posts that upset me (and there have been several) but yesterday, I broke my own rule. I apologize to neophil98. He is entitled to his opinion, just the same as I am, and I shouldn't have been rude.

Do a search for file name *.uis or go to the subdirectory for your Windowblinds. Open the .uis file with notepad. Scroll down till you find the section [Colors]. There are 2 settings you want to change the numbers on: Window=255 255 255 WindowText=0 0 0 This will make the window white and the text black. It will stay when you re-boot the computer.

There's a setting in Windowblinds for desktop color. I think when you reboot, it is resetting the color as it reads the uis file. The setting is in section [Colors]Background.

Oh, it sounds like you have changed the color on the WB skin. I just tried that with Copperdeck and it does not use the new colors when it's imported to objectbar. Sorry, I think what you are trying to do isn't possible because the re-coloring does not actually change the bmp files.
