DWatson, I think I saw that ~wbskinner is off firefighting for the summer season, so you may not be able to reach him...

Congrats, GM. I know you could do it. It's just a matter of confidence. (which will grow with each success) I'm doing fine. Still around here a lot, but mostly just "lurking".
Don't worry, GM...You can do this!
Try resetting the date on your computer to a time within the trial period and then restore your icons and uninstall IP. That should do it.
Gillon made a cat theme you might want to check out. https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.asp?searchtext=sammy&sort=updatedate&order=Descending&library=1
Maybe Powerdesk is the issue. I access my CursorXP themes and trails from Control Panel/Mouse and they show up there just fine. Sorry I couldn't help. >
Dovelady, try putting the png in the Trails sub-directory (not particles). I have CursorXP, with all the themes, trails, etc. on my E Drive and it works OK. I tried installing a new trail today (to check on your problem) and I mistakenly told it to install to E:\Programs\CursorXP\Trails and it made a new Trails sub-directory. I moved the png back up to original the Trails directory, Deleted the extra directory, and was able to access and apply the trail. Hope this helps. [Messag

Wishing you the very best!
I would have no problem with it. I trust Stardock. But I don't think my data would be too meaningful because I run so many ports and old skins that I've updated. Rarely do I run the "flavor of the week"
Gabriel, do you have the MetalX skin? It might be worth your while to try it and see if you get the menu displaying correctly on it. Do you have WBwinmenu.dll dated 10/21/2000 2.52pm in your skin directory? Also, I would check to be sure that you don't have an old version of it in the Windowblinds directory. The MetalX button settings for the winmenu are as follows: [Button15] XCoord=40 YCoord=3 Align=0 Action=-4 Visibility=19 ButtonImage=meta
Figured out the problem is in SkinStudio, not Windowblinds. The following section is in MetalX that is "Unsupported" in SkinStudio. [WBWinMenu] BkgndImage=metalX2 Gold XP\g-winmenu.bmp FixedLeft=3 FixedTop=4 FixedRight=3 FixedBottom=4 By copying this section to Antares (changing the path, of course) and copying the background to Antares and greyscaling it, I now have a nice WinMenu. Hope this helps, Gabriel. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/i
The interesting part is Grayhazes MetalX skin works perfectly with winmenu. All the other skins that I have that use it show the menu wide as the screen.
I have had that problem with WinMenu for a long time now. Hope somebody has a solution.
Sorry that happened...I got a kick out of Latin's posts. Wish I could remember being that young and enthusiastic.
Can you skin the Earthlink Toolbar? Is it resident on the desktop when you are not online?
This package still works just fine with IP 2.50e. Perhaps you failed to install it. You need to double-click the ip file (it's actually a zip, renamed) to extract the icons and the .iptheme file. Hope this helps.
I had those turn up in a recent StyleXP conversion. It was Everafter by ~wbskinner. There seems to be extra vertical and horizontal progress bars. (I don't think I have ever seen a vertical progress bar.) Anyway the bar chunk is the progress (right side of the normal progress bar) and the XP bar is the background. Looks like if you take the normal progress bar and cut it in half you have the two pieces for the horizontal. Then rotate 90 degrees and it would be the vertical. Not sure what
Have you checked to be sure you haven't ticked "Always use the XPTaskbar defined in... (under User Overrides) That's the only thing I can think of that would cause this problem. If that isn't it, you should probably contact Stardock support. [Message Edited]
I have always wondered why Stardock doesn't put a shortcut to "Use Windowblinds Skin" on the Objectbar start menu. It isn't easy for newbies to find.
(1) Right click on the right start panel and choose properties to go to Theme Editor. Right click the "My Documents" ((Under "My Stuff")and choose Duplicate. Rename the duplicate "Recent Docs", click on the Behavior tab and choose "Recent" on the pull down menu. Save and apply. (2)Not sure what you mean by the XP Layout, but if you go to your ObjectBar directory and drill down to the WindowsXP folder and click on "Use Windowblinds Skin", it will import your current Windowblinds theme
moshi, thank you for posting the link to Inkscape. I had been looking for a program that could read svgs and convert them to pngs for a long time. And yes, I had googled, but guess I didn't use the right words to search. I am amazed at how a 48x48 svg makes a perfect 128x128 png.
I think you are referring to "Ph00ey". He made several guitar sets. Maybe a Google search would turn them up if they aren't here anymore.
The morph is cool but the I think the best change is the fact that WB is no longer creating 70-80 .wb4 files. Now there are five files. The 4 windowframes and a BLOCK.wb4 (about 92k on the skin I'm currently running. This is a lot less messy.
I save the screenshots when I download the skins. I keep all my cursorXP screenshots in a sub-directory under CursorXP, and browse them when I am looking for one to match a theme. Actually, I have so many, I have sub-directories set up by color so I can easily find one that matches. [Message Edited]
