the last VD beta freeze my taskbar

What he is saying is that despite some file being modified in the IP package, the modification does not apply. It happens frequently with files associated to a particular application like PDF (and acrobat installed), media files, zip, etc IP is not able to override the application icon
you can use the code from the Itunes remote of martin.
when running IconX, the standard XP wallpaper is back. The custom wallpapers (1 by virtual desktop configured in BandWVM) are not applied. Removing IconX, then the wallpapers are back.
for my "drive" widget, it seems to be a problem with WMI being corrupted (the script get a NULL answer). I'll try to fix it and see if the others widgets get back to life too.
On my computer, some widgets are broken, and it is always difficult to know why, if it related to the computer, to DX or to the widget coding. The Itunes Remote does not display lyrics. The currency widget is frozen in "updating" forever. The silica drive meter is frozen at 100% (i think it is related to me but I do not know how to correct it )
anyway, the new beta has lots of problems, it even refused to install the default "Windows icons". Reinstalled the 2.5 back.
I'll put DesktopX 3's stability with its default widgets up against Dashboard any day not sure what you mean. DX3 has some problems, even with its default widgets.
my current build refuse to reinstall archives.
I think the 10 gadgets are the silica gadgets we already got with DX3.0 too bad some of them are already broken
Yes, that is pretty much the only package that does not work at all with the new IP. blank icons and everything messed up.
I can see people complaining about the OS if it was a month away from release, but we have close to 18 months left to the final build. In the great age on the internet, any 13 year old kid can download LH 5048 from warez and complain after that it sucks because it is not finished, dismissing the fa
Desktop X has the weird behaviour of not working the same for all users. Some widgets will work for you and not for another person and vice versa. Add the fact that old widgets are often broken because of bad code or change in internet pages (for internet related programs).
I just had to reinstall DX3 and in the default widgets, there is no more the Big clock. Has it been removed or what ??
Before posting, I've uninstalled and reinstalled DesktopX3, so I'm talking about the default widgets. - The silica drive meter loads and is set a 100%, then hangs. (other silica widgets do work) - The Itunes remote widget failed to load lyrics (some other lyrics from wincustomize do work) - The Glass currency widget is stuck in "updating" (the stock widget - I think they share some codes - does work) Is this a common problem ?
hum, I got everything right after reboot (except the missing doc link)
in fact, i just tried to uninstall and reinstall this app, and I've lots of questions 1/ a link for documentation appears in the start menu but it is a dead link 2/ the VDM works but no configuration is possible, the only option I have is "reset vwm" nothing else
is it normal that the option "configure virtual desktop" is greyed out ..
tried this trick. not working any better.
both Core calendar and Silica calendar are wrong. Martin's Calendar are ok.
the OSX dock has features I would like to see in ObjctDock on windows.
some weather widget do work, some do not. For example, in the sustenance weather I tried (and which share the same script as many weather widgets), it failed to run scripts for changing city and units, due to problems in variables.
SMM works here. The problem with DX is that bugs are pretty random and very hard to track.
The widgets from older versions still work with DX3. no, that is not a rule. Many of my weather widgets do not work anymore.
I've seen a bug appearing with many weather widgets/dx packs weather config since I'm on DX3. example : get sustenance weather dxpack. load it in DX. try to change the location by pointing on the City name (same bug appear when trying to switch the F/C) Objet requis: 'DesktopX.ScriptObject(...)' Line: 13 Code: (not available) 'Called when the script is executed Sub Object_OnScriptEnter <
