I would have thought there would have been more interest in this thread, given there's a new OS and an updated version of StartXX. Oh well! Anyway, I've been exploring Win11 and I quite like it. There are some differences to Win10, some I like and others I'll get used to, but Win11 is probably MS' best out of the box OS to date. I'm still tweaking Start11 to suit my needs and preferences, but thus far it has been quite useful ..... keep up the great work, Stardock, t

Still haven't finished my workstation setup cos I took the day off from carpentry stuff, but I did manage to install Win 11 on my HP 2-in-1 laptop/come tablet. To be honest, I didn't think it was going to install, being its an older model and probably not meeting the requirements, but to my surprise it installed despite a couple of hiccups to begin with. I got a message saying that my PC didn't meet the requirements and that setup would exit, so I clicked OK and figured that was

Banned for I did nothing of the sort... I was too busy installing Windows 11 and getting accustomed to the new features. Oh, and the pyramid building was not enforced but rather a labour of love and respect for the pharaoh.

I still haven't upgraded to Win 11 as yet, despite it being released a week or so ago. I've had other priorities and projects that have kept me rather busy... with one of those projects being an extensive update of my work station from various off-cuts/bits n' pieces I kept for 'just-in-case' they were ever needed somewhere down the track. However, I will get around to it in the next few days. In the meantime, though, I will install Start11 on my Win 10 machines, given the

Banned for yet another conspiracy theory and grasping the wrong end of the stick again. The measurement of time was originally used by the Ancient Egyptians to know when to sow and reap their crops.... and when to commence work on the pharaoh's pyramid.

Banned for not knowing the time and banging a big bass drum out of your bedroom window to hear a neighbour call out: "Who the bloody hell is banging a big bass drum out the bedroom window at three o'clock in the morning?"

Banned for not knowing that the mice men are the architects 1000's of conspiracy theories, and the one about lizard people on the moon is a ruse to misdirect our attention away from several mouse plagues that are planned for every continent on the planet.

The only socialising I do is right here at Stardock.... on the forums. Outside that I'm simply not interested, having been burned by Facebook after just one visit and never wanting to go back. I have never been to Twitter or any of the others and never intend to. I did open a Youtube page of my own once but rapidly lost interest in it and now I don't know if it's still there after being absent for more than a year. It just wasn't my thing.

I was never satisfied with Windows out of the box, and I doubt that I'll have Win 11 long before I start tinkering with it. I've been using ObjectDesktop for well over ten years now and will continue to do so with Win 11. I just hope that MS hasn't hard coded more elements of the UI so that we're stuck with fugly bits that MS seems to think are great. Anyhow, Brad, like Jafo said, welcome to the machine.

I'll watch Witcher and Midnight Mass, but there's no way on Earth I'd bother with Tiger King. It holds no interest whatsoever for me. I have been watching a series called The Outpost and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Currently it is in its fourth season, which sadly will be its last. Without giving too much away, it's about a woman who believes she is the last of her kind with black blood and is persecuted wherever she goes. Here's a preview teaser from season 1.

Banned for supporting theorists [and that's all they are, theorists who have the wrong end of the stick] and fringe lunatics so they can continue spreading whacked out theories with no indisputable proof.

Banned for it's not mythane that's the problem here, it's yourthane, and in a built-up area it contributes greatly to the hole in the ozone layer and people visiting their doctors with breathing difficulties.

A botanist collecting plant samples in the jungle is beset upon by two male gorillas who tie him with his face to a tree with vines. They then pull down his pants and proceed to sodomise him. A while after they had finished and left the scene, a couple of chimpanzees see his bare butt and avail themselves of it also. When they had finished and left the scene, a couple of baboons come and repeat the act. Shortly after a group of Masai warriors take advantage of his compromise
