2 days and still no WB port. What's going on? You'd think people are actually making their own skins or something......

Heh, I don't need the link. I'd be a St. Bernard. Always got a drink handy.......
#1 by Skinner CerebroJD - 6/29/2004 1:59:23 PM Ooh...very nice eye candy! CerebroJD ports it over to WindowBlinds As soon as that skin was announced we had a little pool going on irc as to who'd do the obligatory port. A few names came out, but we overlooked you. Next time you gotta give me a heads up, so I can place my bets. <
NS is a great app. Always enjoyed skinning it too. I think the reason it kinda dropped off is that development for it was halted for a period because Jorge had some personal issues he had to take care of. I think he's back working at it again now though, so hopefully we'll see it get more popular again.
"I mean, over at the site I news moderate (Neowin.net) articles get tons of comments. "On a comparative ratio, WC vs Neoweenie, I think it's safe to say WC get's less idiotic newspost replies than they do.Plus less brainless flaming. (We save that for the messageboards here....)
Love their stuff. They deserve all the sucess they have.
I preffered the more 'classic' days of skinning, when things first got started. People were skinning for the right reasons back then. Now it's all about the comments and ego-flagging. I certainly miss those days.
Taken care of them.
1/4 of a beer......
I've used SmartFTP for years now. Can reccomend it. Only other one I've used is WS_FTP, so I can't really make any comparisons between SmartFTP and what else is out there. http://www.smartftp.com
I believe if we were to fly far enough out, we'd find that the universe is located in the bottom of some large cosmic toilet bowl....
WBExec is a plugin, Stephan, and the Randomiser is not made by Stardock. That's why they're not on Stardock Central.
Install this one over the top of your existing version, it will cure the problem: http://storage.stardock.com/files/stardockcentral132_slim.exe
If it's a Windowblinds skin, I think that line is controlled by the 'window border' attribute in the colours section.
Please understand that this is not customer support. Well, we 'are' in the Help Forum.
And StealthOS as well, also available there.
If you use another e-mail adress, inform Stardock so they can update your account info. No wonder you're getting the download cap. Please don't whine about it, as ultimately it's not Wincustomize or Stardock's fault in this case.
Quoted from another thread. Written by HIPPY! I put a lot of thought into this thread, and now you've ruined it. Think of the poor children....... ;p
Saw 2 others with your name as the subject, figured I'd try a little Beetlejuice here.....
Done.
That's an interesting co-incidence, my clipboard contains the following: Pointless space wasting threads should be burned.
There's a few thousand skins here. We can't police the comments of every one for bad language. If you come across anything you feel is inappropriate to the site, the best plan is to e-mail one of us admins with a link.
If I recall, Windowblinds is actually available in certain stores in boxed format. Think I remember Brad mentioning that a year or two back.
Thankly. Been bugging me for weeks that one, trying to remember how the end went.
I'm running the beta on 2 systems here. Quite happy with it so far. The firewall is a vast improvement over the standard non SP2 one, from what I can tell. I'm running a hardware one here, so I haven't tried it out, but I've heard from people who were running the default one that it's way better. Not as good as a full one though, but adequate enough for most users.
