The only soloution to stopping ripping is legal action or even the threat of it. There's the minority or rippers who are unaware they are doing anything wrong, and when asked, will rectify the problem and apologise genuinely , but the problem is the majority.

Object Desktop is free upgrades for a year, WB is free upgrade untill the next version number. Which works out better, as ,in theory, if you bought WB4, if it took 1 and a 1/2 years to get up to WB5, you'd still get all the upgrades inbetween after a year was up. If you have an OD subscription though, you can go from V3 to V4 for free, if your subscription is still active.

DX player is what is required. It's a plugin used by DX and Objectbar to allow control of Mp3 playing. It's being replaced on ODNT by Object Media, but it does more or less what you need, Urlryn.

WB has a setting that turns the userpic off. You can access it by hitting the 'advanced' button on the appearance tab in display properties and the option is the bottom one in the top left section of the dialog.

I run them together fine, and I've seen no other reports of problems with them. If you have WB installed, try excluding Photoshop and see if that fixes it.

Well, after watching the first of the 2 qualifying races, I have to say I love this new one-shot qualifying rule. The Honda's were quite impressive, although I was so hoping for Villeneuve to pick up a crap lap time, thus humbling him and his big-ass ego, and maybe soften his crappy attitude toward Jenson Button. Looking VERY forward to the race.

My method of skinning is to use gas mark 5, and remember to baste the skin before putting it in.

The teams wanted rules that cut costs, so why didn't the FIA simply limit to teams to a set budget for the season? If you get stuck, Joe, SkinStudio has the ability to create masks that will recolour some of the skin areas. Haven't used it though, so I don't know how successful it is.

If your top/bottom margins for the left and right borders are bigger than your top bottom frames, use those two figures for determingin the rollup height. You might get a bit of horrible overlapping if you don't.

I was just reading IPlural's handy shutdown shortcut tip, and I figured a thread full of such tips would be cool. I don't know a whole lot, but one handy tip I can pass on is something that I came up with on my old system. It was very slow, and at that time I had 2050 fonts installed, so it took ages for me to open my fonts folder to install new ones. I found that if you create a shortcut to it in your 'send to' folder, you could then install fonts, both single and large groups
