Repair priority: I don't know if the hoshiko's have the same problem, but I just had a repair facility spend its 20 antimatter on a nearly full up guass turret (as in during the few seconds it took me to find the one it was doing, it was fully repaired), while one with several thousand HP down went unrepaired.

Hmm ,I always thought bombers could engage fighters as a last ditch. Seeing as how fighters can engage cap-ships when not otherwise engaged, it seems fair to me

A related issue is that you can cancel pre-reqs for quest up items -- E. G. you can cancel the enhanced damage control without canceling capital ship research. But it doesn't look like capitol ship research will continue like that.

(5) Bombers autotarget other strike craft (which they can't hit) when there are other valid targets around. They just keep circling around each other. Yeah, i've seen this. Kinda annoying, but are you sure bombers can't hit other fighters in a last-ditch situation?

Hey, I provided you with a reason to do it, not necessarily the reason you would do it Besides, if it doesn't work out you can use XP's built "restore point" system to simply revert back. The instructions are floating around on the net somewhere. Sorry, Ron Lugge, I am not a professional beta-tester but a paying customer (and amat

I've got two minor graphics bugs: 8800GTX 4600+ Athlon 64 x2 2 GB DDR2 533 RAM If you bombard a planet while the game is minimized to browse forums (say because you've got a BC auto-bombarding an auto-turned colony it just auto-dropped, testing the waters behind the frontlines) the missiles "pile up" into a massive mega nuke. Also, if you zoom in on a phase line (extreme zoom) where a cultural conflict is occuring (say, pushing back enemy culture line

Lots of fighters/bombers + special ability usage When I have a lot of fighters in a system, and an enemy jumps in, my game starts going in spurts. My CPUs / RAM aren't maxed out, so I have no clue what the bottle-neck is.

This way they focus their fire on one target until it is dead. Devs have deliberatly set it up to not focus fire, and game mechanics have been built in to make that a good idea.

This sounds like a WIBN -- way to much effort for too little result, and probably too late in the development cycle. Edit: Which isn't to say some parts of it might not be doable and nice, I meant to quote the bit about the decals up there. Bleh.

Well good point, but so far, I have never had the need to blockade a star... Your actually blockading the star lanes reaching into the star, if that makes more sense. E. G. sitting your ships on the place enemy vessels HAVE to jump in from. Great for def

Dual monitor support is VERY nice... for those with dual monitors Duel Monitor support is something I'm waiting for with breathless anticipation, too! I can't wait to see how somebody manages to do that! (Preemptive strike, I know).

I seem to be the one of the few that have posted something like this. The devs have asked others to do the same. So what are you guys waiting for? Remembering to take notes I frequently don't, and forget the beginning by the end.

None of the phase lanes actually move, the ones connected from the planets to the star do rotate around the star, all in all the entire process has no strategic value, it is only a suggestion to appease people who want rotation. All stars are connected together just like they are now, and they do not move either. Which is the entire basis to my point: The relative position of inter and intra stellar phase lanes

I think your confused, I said phase lanes would not move , it would be just like the picture above... OK, so instead of rotating each system your rotating the entire map? Otherwise, your not making sense. If each system rotates independently, they're relative locations don't change, which means inter-systemic phase lanes don't move, while inter-systemic ones do. Or if the entire map rotates around a common ce

I take it that means you want that behaviour? ./shudder. That'd make my blockade habbits (sit close-in ships on the end of a phase lane I expect an enemy to come in on) a LOT more micro intensive, since either planet lanes or star lanes will sud
