Sorry I forgot to check back by... finals week == no fun! No, it doesn't happen every time. It settled down after I got the entire system settled down from it's "OMG, there's new hardware!" hijinks.
You may just want to get Object Desktop since it will end up costing you around the same price as WindowBlinds and DeskScapes together. Object desktop includes both of those as well as some other fine software.
Too late now. Oh well.
you can have some if not all StarDock apps on more then one PC IF you are the ONLY user of those PC's
Where did that come from? I will admit I'm more familiar with the game side of things, but my understanding is that you can have it installed on as many machines as you own, as long as you're the primary user (i. e. I'm not in trouble for installing stuff on my desktop, even though I've given my room mates a limited 'user' account).

I'm using the Impulse client to browse for a few desktop enhancements (having noticed the new LogIn studio, I realized I forgot to buy the other enhancement programs, i. e. WindowBlinds7, that I'd put in my budget for this semester). So I grab Windowblinds 7, and try to grab DeskScapes. Problem is, every time I click on 'add to card' DeskScapes doesn't add to cart, the screen just moves to the cart. So I can't purchase it iwth WindowBlinds 7, or on it's own. INTENSTLY

There is an awful lot of other things you can do to improve compile times as well.
# # Races are more diversified - there can't be the same unit types, but with different names.
If you played more, you'd realize that's really false. The most obvious difference lies in the teir 2 tactical missile launchers, but there are differences up and down the line. Most of those differences are stat rather than role driven, but even there you get differences. For example, an Aeon artillery barrage is fairly accurate where a cy

I got the following error message out of Ready To Play. I believe it's connected to my having been forced to buy a new video card (the old one crapped out on me) and the related OS hijinks (reinstalling all the drivers for all my USB devices? Iiiinteresting!). System.Xml.XmlException: Root element is missing. at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.Throw(Exception e) at System.Xml.XmlTextReaderImpl.ThrowWithoutLineIn

I never had any problems on the RC, or now that I'm running Windows 7 Professional X64. I'd try upgrading to the full version instead of the test version first (you really should, pain in the ass or not... you knew you'd need to!). Other possible culprits might include needing to reinstall DirectX, driver issues, etc etc. And did you link to the right thread? That's on sync issues (which don't produce crahses anymore).
Do you not see the irony in what you have just said?
There isn't any. You can turn off the feature, and you could turn off the e-mails, the problem is that spam filters will catch it whether you want to or not. To be honest, I'd prefer for the window to last longer and be more noticeable, if anything; I have trouble getting to it 'in time' sometimes.

From what I've heard (I don't follow the forums are religiously as I used to, alas) I don't think the AI is 100% implemented, nor are some of the new features.

I got an e-mail from SD telling me they are throwing the switch at 10 tomorrow morning. I was going to sing a 'hallelujah' chorus about it, since my 9:30-10:45 class had been canceled, but then I remebered they're an east coast company. Which means 7 in the morning my time. Bleh!

The ending of last nights episode was... absurd. The entire thing was way to predictable. The thing that drove me nuts the most, though, was the whole slingshot manuever. You don't 'gain' speed from a slingshot manuever -- Farscape not withstanding -- you change it, aligning yourself with a new trajectory. That entire section just showed a poor understanding of space navigation. They could see destiny? How close did it have to be to p
