John Hamp loves deviantART. But FB is right, it's not really a skin site anymore. It's a art site that just so happens to have some areas for skins.

Geez Cygnus, do you have idea how unhinged you sound? Calling people bigots? Why do I get the feeling that in a past life you were one of those people who considered those who disagree with you heretics? Seek counseling.
WC should have a button some where on it to make the site your home page. I think that would be a nice feature.
LOL. I think the lesson the Custo admin guy can learn from this is not to let his stooges slam a guy who runs a much bigger site and then close the topic so that he can't respond. If I ran a huge website and some pipsqueak little sites admins for abusing me as they were abusing FB in that thread and then after taking a bunch of cheap shots at the end close it down so i couldn't say my peace I'd have a big old news item with my response and let
I was looking at this site called Big Boards and doesn't WinCustomize have like 2 million members? How many posts does WinCustomize have total? What about JoeUser?
I was simply expressing my displeasure and opinion. As a customer who bought their product, I am entitled to that, right?
This is why pepole are yelling at you dsj. You aren't listening. If you bought GalCiv Deluxe at a store, you're not Stardock's customer. You're Strategy First's customer. Stardock hasn't gotten paid for most retail purchases of the original game, let alone this "deluxe" version that's out now. Stardock doesn't owe you anything. Not a cent of
If only there was a way to send an electrical shock through the Internet at some of these guys.
Ooh "CraptopX". Well the loser living in his mom's basement crowd has spoken.
http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/a-tale-in-the-desert/549598p1.html?fromint=1 Looks like the publisher of Galactic Civilizations is going bankrupt. Hope Stardock got some money from retail sales of the game.
Yeh what he said!
SafeDisc is the devil. I've had friends who have run into the same problem with Farcry, another Ubisoft title as well as with some Atari titles. Hopefully you can talk the publisher into having the next update not require Safedisc.
you need to realize that we are not your equals; we are your bosses, because we support you. you need to treat your customers a lot better, and not merely by rude and snyde with them. this driver did work, and the game looks good; however i can tell you right now i will NEVER buy anothe
woot, you're one of those tiny brained jerks that get pleasure out of trying to make others as miserable as you aren't you? here in this thread you've got the developers trying their best to help people and you come on with your snide nasty little comments complete with a pathetic threat to the "better busuiness bureau". if i were the develoeprs, i'd tell you where you could take your precious twenty bucks. cut them some slack.
I downloaded the game from TotalGaming.net. I didn't take part in the beta so this was a new experience for me. First TIP: PRINT THE MANUAL. This game was a very different experience for me than my other strategy games. Once I got the hang of it, the game is incredibly easy to play but rich in strategic options. I made the mistake of playing the game without reading the manual and really didn't understand what I was doing. I played on

Hopefully next time there won't be a Winamp segment. What a bunch of crybabies. And elitists at that. Yeh, I'm sure it takes more time to create a Winamp skin than it takes to create 120+ icons at 8 different resolutions. I bet a modern WindowBlinds skin is more difficult than a typical Winamp skin in this contest. The organizers should let the Winamp community fade into oblivion along with the player.
Way to make the Winamp community look like a bunch of spoiled babies. Elitist spoiled babies at that. Here Stardock put together a wonderful set of events, included Winamp despite the fact that it's been losing popularity for years, and turned the judging over largely to Nullsoft for those events and what do you guys do? Crap all over Stardock as if it's somehow their fault. Anyone reading this exchange is going to walk away with a very negative impression fo the Winamp community. It's pre
Two words: Sour grapes.
Maybe Winamp is just dying? I bet Media Player would have gotten a lot more entries.
The other day I was over in Victoria (British Columbia) heading to the home that a friend of mine knows. And I realized, it is still very cold here. You see the weather map and it's all warm down in the states. Spring Break is coming. If global warming is happening, it's not happening fast enough!
Google sure seems to think so. They bought blogger. Blogs and interactive blogs seem destined to replace Usenet as a place for people to discuss all kinds of matters. One tends to think that Google should buy Feedster.
Live...from Canada... ...There could be a lot more here...
Good god Muggaz, quit while you're behind. At first you just sounded like a fool, later an idiot, and now an ass. Describing you as a child is generous. Infantile is more like it. Isn't it a school night?
CDs are nice.
Muggaz: Do yourself a favor and start reading what other people write instead of skimming it. A lot of your errors come from extrapolation of statements. Brad never compared Ho to Hitler or the NVA to Hitler. He wrote "Please explain the difference between Nazi Germany conquering say Poland and North Vietnam conquering the south." The Vietnam war was about North Vietnam wanting to conquer South Vietnam by force. The US worked to defe
