Great! Definitely one of the best holiday themes I've ever seen. Mormegil is a master
Aqua.
Does anyone know if Mormegil's Christmas theme will be updated for this year? By updated I mean some things changed to improve readability, extra features added, the different parts bundled together in a single suite, etc.
I'm an OD subscriber, and have been one for several years. If you introduced some new major program (ex: windowblinds or desktopx) and decided to charge for it separately, I'd have no problem with that. The program would be worth the money. What I don't like is your making a minor little program and charging as much for it as I paid for Roxio Easy CD Creator or a whole bunch of other major apps I have. There are many minor things that are part of the subscription, I expected this to
Ok, looked up some browser help files. The problem can be either server side or be caused by not accepting third party cookies (possibility because www.wincustomize.com also has sdcentral.stardock.com cookies). However, the problem did not resolve when I allowed all cookies without conditions.
ok, guess I'll just try again tomorrow.
a loooong time ago
For the last hour or so I've been trying to get on the site, unsuccessfully. I can only get on the site using StardockCentral, and slowly at that. When I try other browsers, such as Firefox, I get a message about "redirect limit exceeded". I both own the full OD and am a WinCustomize subscriber, I thought that we were guarenteed priority access?
I haven't had a problem since the second release (on my old computer). I haven't installed it on my new computer yet... but I'll let you know within 15 minutes how it works
I ordered this about two weeks ago. I got the CD only a few days after my order (as compared to stuff from other companies that takes close to a month quite often). The CD that arrived in the mail was missing a few critical files, I let Stardock know about it, and got a good CD at no extra cost only a couple of days later. / \/ Good job Stardock
Well, with less than two hours to go before midnight I'll go ahead and say this was an April Fool's joke. However, a good number of the above items should be in the next release and most of the above is at some stage in development
3DNA is pleased to announce 3DNA 2K4, ushering in a new era in 3D interactive worlds. After months of research and development, taking into account the vast amount of input and feedback we have received from our community, 3DNA has created what we believe to be the "ultimate" 3DNA expe
I had a little one time oddity... somehow the boot screen was at a signifigantly higher resolution once. The boot screen normally takes up the whole screen, but that once it was only about 1/2 the size, centered, and had a wide black margin on each side of the image.
Sweet, I too want a Trillian library.
Hello Styl I'm surprised you've remembered me. I've been hanging around the 3DNA and SCN forums for a while. Oracle - I finally ended up copying the entire Stardock folder to my backup hard drive.
Ok, I did the upgrade and it solved most of the problems, but I still have two items giving different error messages. See https://www.wincustomize.com/msgboard.asp?BID=WC&ID=264785#265655 for the thread I posted them in.
Got another error just now: There was an error installing Object Sweeper. The following error occurred: Downloaded: C:\Program Files\Stardock\SDCentral\temp\backup\osw.zip (attempt: 3 - http error -5) Result: Installation Failed Would you like to view the installation log file? and like before, there was no log fil
Another question: where is it storing all the archived stuff?
I upgraded to SDC Ver. 1.30.258, build: 44 and got those options again. I was able archive most of it, but when it got down to TweakShell it threw the following error: There was an error installing TweakShell. The following error occurred: Expires: 14 September 2004 Result: Installation failed Would you like to view the installation log
1.20.238 build 35 I'm going back through now, working my way through the list. Some of the stuff works now, but others are still giving me the above error message.
I'm getting this error for every single thing I try to download from SDC: There was an error installing (program nam). The following error occurred: Error: Invalid chunk data (4384 : 5740). Redownloading chunk 0 (attempt 1). Request header: range: bytes=0- Error: Invalid chunk data (4384 : 5740). Redownloading chunk 0 (attempt 2). Request header: range: bytes=0- Error: Invalid chunk data (4384 : 5740). Redownloading chunk 0 (attempt 3). Request header: range: bytes=0-
A question about archiving, what do each of the following options do? * Archive production applications * Archive pre-release applications * Archive application modules
I like having OS logos when booting up and on the menu button (in windows, the start button), I don't like having logos stuffed everywhere. I especially dislike having logos on wallpapers unless they're the logo of the person or organization that made the wall.
I tried that, and it started to redownload everything. As I'm not on dial-up at home that's an enormous amount of time it was about to tie up my connection for. I tried going to campus and installing SDC there, but the install stopped because I didn't have write permission for some dll file. Is there a zipped archive I can download?
I'm about to reformat my hard drive and reinstall everything. Before I do so, I want to make sure I have backed up everything. As it stands, Stardock's products are the only thing left on my checklist. I recall hearing once that there was an automated way to archive all the Stardock programs I had downloaded, but I don't remember how. Would someone point me in the right direction please?
I use roll up and pin on top.
