Many of you already know what 3DNA is For those who don't, 3DNA is an awesome 3D desktop replacement for Windows in first person game style. For those who have used it before, 1.1 is an ever bigger advance over 1.0 than 1.0 was over 0.9. Most of the bugs have been eliminated, support for older versions of Windows has been increased, filesizes have been cut by a third, and performance has more th

Why bother with MSN Messenger? Just use Trillian Just had to throw that in
Law enforcement, law makers, and the executive branch are essentially above the law. Mind you, this is specifically one of the things we, as America, are supposed to be absolutely against, but it's become the norm.
BTW, innocent until guilty is an American invention. By far, the other way around is the rule worldwide.
Puppet, would you kindly list all of the things you want to do that cannot currently be done? Would you also list the things you can do, but only in a very roundabout way?
Hatch is fricked up and needs to be shut down himself. Fortunately, we live in a democracy and Utah will be able to do just that fairly soon.
What are you using to skin? SkinStudio or Notepad?
Congrats Boxxi!
I got about 24,000 in the three weeks I posted stuff to the libraries, haven't done anything since though. Am about 30,000 right now, way to go Boxxi!
As for Motorola, they pulled nearly all of the R&D budget quite a few years ago for their CPUs. They've switched from the computer market to the mobile device market. Apple will be switching to IBM and AMD chips, but these chips will be based on the Power PC, not the x96 family, so OSX still won't run on most people's computers.
I grew up using Apples, then Macs from '846 to '94, '94 to '97 was a transition time for me, and have been using IBM Compatables excusively ever since. There are many things I love about Windows, but many other things I love about Macs. ObjectBar, ObjectDock, and various themes have eased the situation, but many programs for Apple are simply done better than they were for Windows. They're both about equally functional, but on Windows, attractiveness and ease of use was never a
I'm thinking that the logo could be made into a watermark style background layered beneath the scan lines using CSS.
You mean you can't skin the control buttons?
No, 3.1 didn't always have blue bars, those were just the default. I remember building my own "themes" out of the 16 available colors
@ Doomgaze Everyone wants it, but almost noone can run it .... Now if Apple would only move onto x86 chips *dreaming* [Message Edited]
MadIce, I know what you're saying. I'm saying that they could probably get more money than they are currently if the experiment with various lower prices. They would more than make up in volume what they would lose on individual sales. The point of the store is to bring in as much money as possible.
A hint, you can get Photoshop for $380, and you can get Photoshop, Illustrator, Golive, and Live Motion for under $300 - educational prices. Get the pack (like the Web Pack) and you'll get four of the programs for less than you can get a single program at the educational price.
I know, and I'm not asking them to lower the price because my income is rather low right now. I'm saying that they could probably get more volume with a lower price, and end up with more money. $1 probably is too low, but I think they should experiment with their prices.
Koasati, I believe I also suggested that WC experiment with different prices until they find the one that brings in the most money. My $1 was an example. Another example, I'd pay (at most) $1 for that cursor pack that just came out, but I'd spend $5 for PixOS. You just need to experiment until you find the best price. The goal here is to bring in the most money, not to squeeze more money out of fewer buyers for a resultant smaller profit.
Hmmm, get a job and meet KarmaGirl, nice deal
The reason the music thing didn't work is because there was a very limited selection, huge restrictions on what you could do with it, and you couldn't transfer the songs to your mp3 player etc. Apple has taken a very different direction and seems to be quite successful. It's simply a matter of people wanting to be able to use what they purchase, which they couldn't do with the older music stores.
Photoshop I'm more of an abstract guy. I take areas of color then smear and filter then into something unique and attractive.
I've tried MyIE and found I prefer Firebird
