hi The Phlash! I have to warn you that IconX is very buggy at the moment. Changing between animation styles completely messes up the look of the icon/s. I would recommend you try out the shareware version extensively before buying it as it is now.

Well, skype may be "lame" to someone using a commercial voip solution. But for the rest of us who prefer to have a regular phone and voip solution separated for security reasons skype is a nice tool. "I tried a system restore (no good)" yeah, system restore only restores the system files back to the last snapshot, it doesn't change any files you have created. the risk is that the system restore messed up lots of the "deleted" files since it replaces lots of files. still crossing all my lil fingers for you

What would be necessary for making desktops for public places, would be a possibility to lock all icons/objects down in their places so a certain layout stays that way during the time different people uses the desktop. With that feature some really original desktops would be possible
