Heh, that's a good way to get kicked out of a store. Generally speaking they don't like that sort of thing, because they will think you work for a competitor, trying to get info on their prices

Yeah, it was funny 2 years ago. I was disappointed that all the random events and choices seem to be taken from the first GalCiv
Some programs use a temporary directory to help them install, but sometimes leave stuff when they are done. This can cause problems when another program tries to install. You might muck about your temporary folder and clean it up.
They make up for any deficiencies by having really really cool looking ships
Well, the box isn't tin, it's just colored silver.
There should be an option for the Altarians/Terrains to have a female leader as well as a male.
Antarans were the race from Moo 2. (Though they were largely inspired by the Andromedans from Star Fleet Battles)
In the first one, the AI knew where the planets were. I thought that was supposed to have been changed in this, but apparently not.
Just go to a Walmart store , they probably have copies. That's where I got mine. Weird that the online place doesn't have them, but the stores do. Usually the online place ships right out of their warehouses.
I think you are jumping to conclusions. If you go to the main chart, Gal Civ 2 isn't even listed, I would suspect the recent spike in popularity is because someone from this forum posted a link to gamerankings with the claim that an 8.4 was too low and that people here should vote there to bring it higher. otoh, there was only 1 left at Walmart.

The game can (and does) change the ingame resolution itself to 1024x768, so why complain to me about it?
The only thing worse than trolls are fanboys.
How exactly are they making people happy? Just by saying "Gee, we don't know what happened?"
Apparently many Wal-marts have them in stock
I don't mean to be a jerk, exactly, but I don't see why everyone is so happy with Stardock. They didn't really cause this problem, but I don't see them doing much to help, either. Seems to me, if they were really being a great customer service company, they would be trying to get a real story from Take 2 and EB and other companies. I mean, first we were told that if we pre-ordered, we would get the collector's edition with some e
I get quite a few CTD's myself, but I noticed they only happened after I loaded a game. Corupt saves, I guess. Which is irritating enough for me to not play it anymore. Oh well, $20 down the drain.
